WORTH IT$8,000
You can bet your money on Dr. Pazmino. He is all the things you would want in a Plastic surgeon. His credentials are top notch, he is accessible, thorough and kind. He is reasonably priced for his caliber in the south Miami area and his staff is small but on point. His lipo/tummy tuck approach is innovative and provides some amazing immediate results. When he did my pre op pictures I was blown away by what he said he could do; it was like potentially getting my 20yo body back. The day of the surgery everyone was caring and attentive and knowledgable. Later that day I went home and began the recovery process. At two months post op I can say my physical recovery has been textbook with no complications. I would only caution patients considering this procedure to be thorough in their research regarding recovery and speak with other patients that have been through it. The office provides a pamphlet about the procedure and recovery guidelines but it mostly reflects an easy process when in fact it is anything but.
The book says to make sure to have someone with you the first 48 hrs. I would definitely expand that to at least a week; and make sure it's someone that is not squirmish. You will need help with everything at first. On my first post op visit the day after surgery I realized that the arrangements for care I had made according to the pamphlet would not be sufficient. Fortunately they recommended a caregiver that turned out to be my saving grace. Odalys lives near the Drs office so the ideal scenario is to arrange with her prior to surgery and stay with her for AT LEAST 5 days. She handled my drains (which was an unexpected nightmare) bathing and dressing my belly button and incision wounds. I learned from how she took care of me so that I could continue my own care a week later when I was less worthless. She even made sure my meals were low in sodium to help reduce swelling which is pretty insane.
The first two weeks are intense and I can honestly say I was not prepared for that. The first garment provided by the office holds the drain bulbs and goes tight around you so it's difficult to sleep. You wear this until your drains are removed. You have to measure your fluid output at least 4 times a day until it's under 30cc for two days straight. This is so uncomfortable and annoying I only wish it didn't have to be part of this whole process but it is why results are much quicker. My drains came out after 15 days, not 7. Then you get the second garment. I was so looking forward to switching garments but it turns out the second one is just as uncomfortable as the 1st one and that's on purpose, again to help with swelling. Super uncomfortable but necessary.
So definitely have patience, be prepared and make sure you have a good support group. It's not easy but definitely having the best team will ensure that the results are exactly what you were hoping for.

You definitely are on point. I am a month post opp. I wasn't prepared either. The itchiness, burning and sensations... let alone that i have not been able to stand 100% straight! Worth it but you gotta be prepared. Thank God for my husband

Omg, I am so worried about the recovery process. Did you have a TT, Lipo and implants ? Does Pazmino give you pain meds & meds for itchness ?
week 3 75 percent what I mean is your ability to care for yourself I had a set up of 5 tank tops 5 track pants 10 grannie panties if you have drains I didn't have drains baby wipes, lots of plain wash cloths, and for god sake the first week take you pain meds every 4 hrs on the clock...I used miralax 2x daily drink 4 bottles of water daily.....I had an episode of monster swelling of my thighs knees and abdomen at 2.5 weeks it is now going down .....get Netflix with own laptop its hard to read and you can watch reruns..my husband had me use his robe after shower until my garment was washed and dried,,i looked like yoda from star wars but I was cozy get a heating pad with auto shut off for your back only not your abdomen I found my back was so painful from hunching over,,,,i rented a recliner from a home health agency a power one that lifts you to a standing position it has saved my life you can use buttons up and down I sed it to stand up to reposition myself sure beats fluffing pillows if you have short legs like me you may need ap illow at the back then you don't shift ....this time shall pass I do look in the mirror and cant believe its mine good luck it is all worth it
