Still a Realself Stalker but Finally Taking the Plunge..... - Miami, FL

Ecstatic!!!

WORTH IT$8,580

My motivation for getting a tummy tuck was I finally came to terms with the fact that I wasn't going to be able to get rid of my 52 inches of belly without surgical intervention. No amount of exercise and or dieting was gonna fix this mess and I couldn't stand looking at it or carrying it around an longer. Back aches, hypertension, diabetes, plantar faciitis, buying large clothing to accommodate, special shoes, compression socks to alleviate swelling, and the depression that comes along with all of it....I was just over it!!! I did this for me.

How u doing ?? Any pics??
I'm doing pretty good, been busy trying to get my house back together since I've had soooo many people taking care of me. I can say for the past couple days I've been feeling like my old self minus the aches and pains. And my energy level is around 95%, no longer am I sleeping all day or feeling the need to rest half the day away. New pics to come shortly.
Congrats!!! Glad to see you are doing so well! I am 11 days post-op today. Still have my drains in. I am glad to read that you are doing so well! =) Good luck on the remainder of your recovery journey. Please keep posting and check out my blogs when you have some time.
Will do and congratulations on deciding to do this for yourself.
You are beautiful!

All I can say is wow!

I drove to Miami yesterday to get my 100 stitches removed, only to have to come home with one. So, 99 out of 100 isn't too bad, but that means I will be going back Saturday to check on the one that had to be restitched. But now to the wow. When I was weighed in yesterday, just 12 days out, I now weigh 218 pounds. Now that by itself is not that impressive, but coupled with last week I weighed 231 pounds after the removal of a 12 pound apron of fat and extra skin, now it's impressive as H. E. Double hockey sticks! I'm loving the new me! Everyday gets easier. By day 10 post op I could sneeze, cough, and take a deep breath with no pain. Just do it! Especially if you have health issues.

IAM SO HAPPY FOR YOU MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU.
Thank you, and I pray your journey is everything you want it to be.
WOW!! very impressive I am happy to see someone around the same weight as me had a TT. Did you have Muscle repair and Lipo too? My current weight is 218. I going to lose another 20 pounds before my surgery, which will be a total of 75 pounds gone!!!
You go girl! You are rocking the weight loss! Yes, I did have muscle repair and lipo. Knowing I wasn't gonna loose any weight, I searched for a doctor who could handle plus sized ladies. Dr. Perry looked at my pics and said come on down, I can help. I was too happy he didn't tell me to loose any weight and he did a great job. I'm extremely pleased with the new me.
I think you were very brave and i am glad you finally had it done. I also have been wrestling with getting my body done. What was your total recovery time and was it painful? I need a thigh lift, tummy tuck, back flap tuck, butt lift. LOL ... how much did all of that cost you?
Well my initial quote was $6600 but then I had to be scheduled for the hospital rather than the surgical center, due to health concerns, so the price went up to $8540 to include an overnight stay in the hospital. But better to be safe than dead. Although I'm still recovering, everyday gets a little easier. Once the drains were removed and Dr. Perry gave me the go ahead to drive, I've been an unstoppable force. Mind you the pain is very real the first week, but worth it.
THANK YOU GOING FOR IT IN APRIL
You go girl! I will keep you in my prayers and I know you will love the decision you've made and the new you. God bless.

Don't you feel so much better without those drains? Those things are evil! Lol. I'll have to get them all over again in a week and I'm not looking forward to it. You look really good, even with the swelling. I can only imagine what you'll look like once it subsides.
Yes you look amazing diva blessing will continue to come.
You look great!! What is your Weight?? And pre Weight 230?
By the time I had surgery i was a whomping 242 wearing a size 22W. Now, two months later I'm weighing in at 215 and wearing a size 14. I feel great!
That’s Awesome. Congratulations. I’ve been in contact with Dr. Perry for my sx later this year (2018) and I am very excited.
