I'm 34 years old and have 2 beautiful boys. The oldest is 3 and the youngest is 8 months. Got married on my 30th birthday following month got pregnant with my first. I weighed 110 lbs when I got pregnant and the day I delivered him, via c-section I weighed 202 lbs. Yes, I gained 92 lbs. It took me a year to drop to 135. I got pregnant last year in February, gained 57 lbs with this pregnancy. Right now I weigh 140 lbs. Since I had dramatic weight gains during my pregnancy I was left with diastasis recti, an umbilical hernia and saggy skin =( Yikes!

My abdominalplasty and hernia repair with be July 18, 2011. I'm excited, nervous and scared but I'm sure it is normal to have so much emotions before such a big surgery. Look forward to seeing my new belly!!

I assure you that all of the emotions you are going through are all normal. You will experience this for a while but it will settle down.

Those babies do a number of our bodies and there is nothing we can do about that. But now you can take charge and get your body back. It is amazing what these doctors are able to do with a tummy:)

Thank you Helens Transformation!! I was suppose to have done the procedure June 10th but was sick and Dr said it was best to wait. He's out of town till the 11th :( so they scheduled me for the 18th but actually I'm pretty happy it happenend. After reading everyone's post with tips I now know I wasn't anywhere ready for the surgery. I've learned so much just being on here a few days. Thank u all for sharing your stories and helpful tips!!!!! Yours is soon!!!! I'll check your page to keep up with your experience and progress!!!! :))

Hi glady77 looks like we're having our surgery on the same day, I'm getting a TT with MR, but also having a face and neck lift, and a lower blepheroplasty. Hope i'm not taking on too much. Like you I feel a huge mix of emotions, mainly guilt and fear though!! Anyway just wanted to wish you luck for the big day, looking forward to comparing after pics lol.
