WORTH IT$12,000
After 6 months of faja wearing, one piece bathing suit summering and a breather after starting school this is what my tummy looks like. I wore the silicone scar strips my Dr gave me through the summer and haven't used one in a month. I did not retouch my body at all in these pics. I did however crop to zoom for necessary viewing. Dr. Pazmiño is AMAZING!!! I will go in to revise part of the scar on my left side but so satisfied with the results. I do have stretch marks from the belly button down due to pregnancy and not the surgery but it's barely noticeable. I will update after the revision. I can't recommend my Dr and team enough!!!!

No more seroma, all healing nicely, again!

Phwew! Finally, my body has absorbed the rest of the fluid from the seroma that was drained over a week ago. I was compressing really hard after Dr P drained it (only 7cc's). I can feel the skin where the seroma now feels like the rest of my tummy. Tight, hard and no water bed. Malena (dr's assistant and wonderful moral supporter), suggested I start using a Homemedics back massager(think big vibrator) for 10 mins daily to break up any hard tissue below the surface. I bought it on Amazon and have been using it for 3 days. I do have some tenderness in some spots like nerve tenderness but I can already feel a difference. My stomach was tight before when you push and now it feels more like supple skin (not loose, just normal). I am taking it easier (it helped I had a respiratory virus-totally zonked) and I suggest whoever reads this do the same. My dr and his staff are AMAZING!!! As a patient, you have to do your part too-recovery is super serious and important that you follow it to the letter. I am super happy with my Dr, Malena, his staff!! I need to find out how to change the review to "WORTH IT!"

That's great to hear! You look really good and your belly button was done well. I'm three months post op today and things are pretty much back to normal.

Overdid it! Ugh!!

So at my 6 week mark. I was feeling good-too good. Over confident in my mind and lifted and moved things around the house. Big mistake. Gave myself a seroma. Boooooo!!!! So angry with myself. I began compression-tight, uncomfortable compression. The waterbed wasn't that big at first. My PS was confident it would go away by itself. But with my busy life and not resting, it didn't. And now today, I am going in to have it aspirated. Dr recommends rest (bed rest) for a few days. Ugh!!!! Not that I don't "want" to do as he says or catch up on zzz's, movies and shows. But it is sooooo extremely hard to be down and off line with my family and household-my life. I know I have to in order to heal. Sorry to vent and whine-not usually my style. But, I'm really mad at myself. I just want to get over this hump. So many people depend on me and I feel terrible I can't be there for them. Frustrated!!! God grant me the strength and serenity to accept these things that I cannot change. ????

I developed a seroma around 2 weeks post op and had to have it drained twice. What worked for me was wearing a very tight faja 24/7 and going in for another aspiration as soon as more fluid accumulated, I didnt wait until my next appt. I was bummed about the seroma and blamed myself too, but its VERY common, everyone I know whos had a tt (irl) has had one. I didnt do bedrest bc thats impossible for me with two toddlers, but I tried to avoid bending and twisting as much as possible and didnt lift my kids unless absolutely necessary. Hang in there, this too shall pass :)
