WORTH IT$4,000
After spending over a year of reading a multitude Realself users reviews & experiences , I finally felt ready for a TummyTuck . A bit of my background ; I am 27 , 2 daughters ( 10 & 6 ) & have lost 90lbs over the past 2 years .
UGH did I look awful outside of clothing , despite the yoga classes & gym membership.
Dr.Ghurani was suggested to me from one of the staff of where he practices ( Spectrum Aesthetics ) from then on , I think I stalked him for about 3 months, it was kind of easy since the office has an IG account.
He was very pleasant to meet in person , and very caring with his craft .
He was meticulous during our consultation in regards to mapping with his marker , reassuring me that precision was a priority to him.
He gave me options on incision due to my excess skin to get the best results.
I didn't get to see him my 2nd P.O visit / drain removal , BUT he was there via text ( he's a busy & very wanted man ) he requested his assistant to send him pics , ( of my & my drain log , my incision ) his assistant was amazing on communication . I am slightly jealous of patients who are local to their surgeons & able to have extensive contact with their Dr , especially since he such a great one .
I am currently 2 days shy of being 3 weeks & very happy .

Recovery & Healing
Trying to keep in mind that everyday life can injur me has been very difficult . I swell immensely after cooking , when I put my back to a wall to stand completely straight , I can't :( .
There is a little nub of skin on my incision that hasn't smoothed in . I'm wondering if it's permanent ?
I've started wearing silicone strips this week .
Small factor I wasn't prepared for ; my upper thighs are often numb / tingly .

Suture Spitting -_-
"There is no victory in an easy glory" I keep telling myself this when I feel myself on the brink of mentally being weak because I physically am. I was getting intense pricks . That became stabs . That became little openings that oozed. Tiny little almost fishing line looking tips have emerged from my incision line . I have been tweezing them out as they protrude. I've even removed one tied as a knot. Thanx to the other women of realSelf I've read others experience this . Even on my WORST tummy tuck PO day , I still look better than I did on my BEST day w the excess skin , frumpy kitty . It's still so awesome to not Have camel toe in my skinny jeans. I'm wondering if my breast will do this as well when I get them fixed , is there anything to prevent / avoid suture spitting ? Or is it just your skin type ?
