update

I'm approaching 3 weeks and I'm feeling ok. I did manage to get a head cold that I've been battling with but other than that I feel good. I got my first lymphatic massage at massage envy and It went well. I will need many more but im on the right track. I've included some updated pics cause I began to try on clothes I would never wear before this surgery. I was excited for how I looked

I'm about 2 weeks post op

it has been a very rough and emotional journey I must say! from dealing with my husband who supports sometimes to feeling sore and trying to take care of kids it's been a huge struggle for me but I have some support so it's not all bad. the worst part is the soreness, swelling, itching, and trying to walk straighter. my compression garments are tight but they definitely help with swelling. at first I didn't see it but now I do. about to start scheduling my messages. I had to wait 2 weeks after my TT to get messages to my sides and abdomen. I was only able to get messages to my back where I had lipo also. I included some updated pics I will continue to write about my journey.

post op day 4

I'm moving better... still in pain and very sore but my meds are helping... haven't had a bowel movement yet either. I get to see Dr. Salama today for a followup. My husband and I are flying out tomorrow morning and ill probably still have my drains in yikes... im hoping myself and my friend can remove them ourselves when the time is right since we both are nurses we feel ok about removing them. I just don't want any complications when I return home.
