First week at work

Did well this week. Work almost all full days. Got my CG Monday. No more rash thank god. Actually had to take two courses of steroids. I'm trying to drink lots of water. We had Thai for dinner one night with a small sashimi appetizer. Proven - no more soy... Felt more swollen the next morning. Down 10 lbs since the surgery. And not really trying. PS says I can walk and in two weeks start back with cardio and some light Pilates and arm exercises.
My incision and the area that was covered with rash is much better. Applying bio oil and vitamin E

It's starting to look better and I'll pealed off the whole rashed area. But damn! The itchy skin is killing me. The incision and the skin across my stomach is fire! Any ideas ? What can I put on to help!

You look good! I know the feeling! Today is my 8 weeks post op and still have the itching burning feeling of the flanks. I use Arnica Gel, take Ibprofen, drink chamomile tea, also bought chamomile body wash and coconut water body wash. I scrub it with a body sponge and give those areas massages when I take a shower. All this seems to help me. Hope it helps you! Keep us posted, good luck to you!!!

Thanks going to try all the above. I go back to work in Monday and want to try and find some methods that work so I can sleep.

You're welcome! That's what we're here for. Omg! I dreaded going back bc of the discomfort and wasn't sure how I would handle it. So I went back to work on a Thursday and then did a full week. Just be careful, don't overdo it. You will get tired easily. Well at least for me I did. I took 5 weeks off bc of little set backs here and there. So take it easy!!! Can't stress it enough. Lol Keep us posted.
