Dr. Ortega is awesome! He is very down to earth and makes you feel comfortable. He's very informative, very professional! I would definitely give him 10 stars! Everything was on point. He well definitely look out for your best interest. I was thinking I would've been able to get my drains removed in a week but because I also had liposuction, he said no, I won't remove them for two weeks, which shows me that he cares because there may be another doctor out there, that would remove the drains before needed and cause the patient more problems in the end. My follow up with him was awesome, very detailed! If I chose to have cosmetic work in the future, I would choose him!

I've been reading alot about long wait times or cancelled surgeries. But I have only had good communication with them so far. How was your experience? Also how long after your surgery was complete, were you discharged?

I didn't have a long wait. The only way they will cancel you is if you don't get clearance from your labs, They will postpone it and let you take them again but if you keep v failing, then I think you will be denied for surgery because it's too many risks. The day of, I felt the worst pain. It was horrible. After I woke up, I was discharged. They don't keep you unless there are complications and I think if that happens they will send you to the hospital, but it's done right in their office.

Everything is going great. Still have my drains as you can see. No complications other than bending. Still very swollen but I'm loving the results already!

Thank you. I keep my compressor on 24/7. The only time I take it off is to shower. Some people take theirs off but Dr. Ortega told me to buy a girdle and wear the compressor on top!

Had my TT yesterday! I agree worst pain was the day of surgery. I feel extremely sore but I'm taking my meds as directed. How long after were you able to stand up straight and shower??

Hope you feel better hun but it was about 2 weeks before I could walk straight. You can shower after your follow up. It hurts to shower but you will have to. Make sure you clean the drain areas well. Use dial antibacterial soap and rinse the area good. Make sure you dry it well.
