I am 3/4 days post op . I got lipo and TT by dr. Hunsaker in Miami. So far I like my results. No more hanging gut -- I look down and can see the va jay jay, imagine when the swelling goes down. I still have my drains in and I'm hoping they come out soon but overall even though I'm swollen, shooooot, I'll stay like this if I had the option of keeping my hanging gut or this.

Congrats on your surgery!

When is your next appt? Mobility gets so much better without the drains. Here's hoping one will be removed! It didn't hurt, just felt weird.

I went to see the doctor the day after the surgery and my next appt to remove is this upcoming week sometime. I am anticipatinggggg the removal of the drains because it does make mobility difficult and i can't sit how I really want to. It also burns sometimes or has stinging pains here and there. Thanks !!!

The stinging might be from the drain being tugged on. Sometimes the stitch holding the drain in causes that sting. Try tucking the tube under tight clothes or taping it down.

Not sure if you've found it yet, but there is a post on the forums called 'July and August Tummy Tucker's Check in Here'. Lots of people at the same recovery stage as you. Really good support system. Check it out. :)
