I will be having my procedure tomorrow. I know it will be a lengthy recovery but I am willing to go through the motions. I decided to have SmartLipo after reading many reviews here on true self. I am doing 14 areas. My entire abdomen, back, flanks, bra roll and arms. I am hoping to get rid of a lot of the extra fat I gained after haver my baby 9 months ago and also the back fat.

Congratulations!!! I LOVE Dr. Careaga I had my surgery with him back in Feb and love my results and my mother just had her surgery yesterday with him. Good luck today!! and can't wait to see your results!

While in Miami I found a wonderful Massage Therapist who came to my mom's house I got massages everyday except Sunday. Her information is on my review. I didn't do them in the office because it was too expensive but I definitely think it made a big difference in healing. Since I've been home I've been getting them 1 a week.

Hey ! You look great !!! How are you feeling ? Take it easy bc if you walk too much the swelling will to your private parts lol it happened to me!! It was so uncomfortable!

What! I what do you mean! It goes to your private parts! No Way! And I think that's happening. How long did the bruising last for you and what did you do besides drink water to help you recover.

My private parts got super swollen and all bruised. It lasted two days or so. Eat lots of pineapple juice ! That helps with swelling (someone from forum gave me the tip and it def helps)

I have been eating pineapple for 3 weeks... It's helping. I am also taking the supplements that have pineapple and arnica. I see the doctor tomorrow. I am a bit nervous about the bumps. did you have bumps? I know it is still early to tell but I am hoping I don't have too many bumps in the end.

I still have two bumps, one is a lot smaller now but still there and one around my belly button, it shows on my last picture. Today I'm going to a lady who's gives massages. 10 sessions of fat reduction, contouring and lymphatic massage. A friend of mine who got lipo years ago told me that those lumps get harder to dissolve with time so better to woke on them now.

I had a good night barely any pain, just discomfort on my arms. I went for my follow up this morning and had the first massages. It was a bit painful specially when she massaged my arms.

Hii! Thanks. The pain of the actual procedure is not bad. The torture are the massages. I had my first massage yesterday and today at 9:00 i went for another. The pain is pretty bad from 1-10 I would say is like an 8. Horrible but it does help with the liquid retention and I am less swollen.

The tighter the garment the better it is. I use this one for day time and the other one at night because it is less tight. Also, I am going to but the insert that goes inside the faja because I was told that this helps with the healing.

much more sore today than yesterday. I think it does have to do with the massages. Anyone has any advise on how often should the area be massaged?
