Silicone Gel Breast Augmentation with Benelli Lift by Dr. Hunsaker at Coral Gables - Miami, FL
ORIGINAL POST
I was motivated to come here because I heard so...
WORTH IT$5,000
I was motivated to come here because I heard so many great things, and the work speaks for itself. I was recommended a breast lift with augmentation because my nipples pointed down.
I was mostly impressed with their time management. I've heard other reviews about their wait time being long, which initially scared me. But I guess going at a slow time of year helps. I didn't feel rushed. However I wish there were English speaking employees on the medical side. The nurses didn't speak English. Also there was some sort of attitude whenever I needed clarification when I was asked medical questions. I just wanted to be sure.
I needed a breast augmentation with Benelli Lift. My breast pointed downwards which bothered me.
On the day of my surgery I was Dr. Hunsaker's first and only case, which put me at ease. I arrived at 6:30 am, promptly and I think they appreciate that. Be on time!
He met with me again in the morning to make marks on my chest and he was very meticulous and organized, which impressed me. There was no sketching, and eye balling measurements. He took out rulers and measuring tape.
The room I waited in while being measure was a little crappy. Not so glam. It left me sketched out. I also had to give a urine sample in a white foam cup. but i can get over that.
I was super excited and went into surgery and before I knew it i reached for my chest and felt my breast. I was overwhelmed and in so much pain. I did feel rushed out of there. I had no time for questions or anything. The nurse just told me to stretch my arms up after 5 hours.
luckily i did not get sick and getting back to the hotel was a breeze. They tried calling my friend but didnt check his number on my form i filled out earlier and asked if I knew his number. This is 2013, the only number I memorize is my own.

Hi-glad to read your review. Did you have surgery at CGCC? I hope they have English speaking nurses when I have surgery-it doesn't set me at ease. I only know elementary Spanish. Seems that surgeon contact wise it went well. :)

Yes I went to CGCC, and they do have English speaking nurses. However the bloodwork and the nurse right before surgery knew little English so it worried me a lot. But things went fine.

Coral Gables Cosmetics Center
It was surprisingly nice inside. The outside is not so glam, and you can easily drive past it if you're not paying attention.

Without the bra
I wish they told me how I was supposed to sleep and how often I take my meds. I barely slept. But loving my results and can't wait to see them as time passes.

Thank you for posting your photos. You look great! Your before and after shots show quite an amazing difference. Hope you're back is becoming less sore!

Yes it is much less sore now. I can sleep on my side somewhat but I am very careful about that.

Oh that's good news, but I agree with you on being very careful. Putting long body pillows on your sides before you go to sleep can help prevent you rolling over...for a few hours!
Congratulations on your surgery! Just to clarify, did you just have your surgery yesterday? Hoping your recovery is going well. Do you know about how many cc's you got? What was your goal cup size? Thank you for taking the time to share your story on RealSelf.
