30 Something with 4 Kids, Trying to Get Back my Pre Baby Bust and then Some - Miami, FL

I've flown in today. Picked up prescriptions and finished payment. The reception ladies aren't the nicest and based on my experience the wait times are very long. I met a lady today while I was there to pay who was waiting over 2 his to be called back for her breast augmentation. I don't mind waiting if the outcome is good. But it's nice to know what to expect. So tomorrow afternoon, I'm scheduled for a breast augmentation with Dr. Ortega. I'm wanting 285 cc Sientra round implants (maybe textured?). Still not sure on profile. I'll meet with with doctor before and have my consult. I'm also going for a partial subpectoral placement, one that is best for reducing animation deformity. (I'll see what the doctor recommends.) Currently in a 33 AA and going for a full B or smaller C cup size. I'll come prepared to wait a while tomorrow and be patient ;) I just want a beautiful finished product. I'll update with post-op photos soon.

I had an afternoon/evening procedure, but they called me in a little early to have my consultation and get prepped for surgery. The office ladies and the nurse who helped prep me where very kind yesterday. I must have caught them on an off/stressful day. I told Dr. Ortega I wanted to be a full B/small C cup size and he recommended the 325 cc high profile. I was scared they would be too big. He took a lot of time and patience to hear me and explain why he recommend that size. I didn't want a high profile (worried they'd look fake). I was thinking of a moderate profile before I spoke with the doctor, so after his explanation of why he thought a moderate profile was too low for me (since I didn't really have any breasts to start with), we settled on Mentor's 325cc moderate plus implants. I am so glad I trusted him!! He is a funny, personally doctor who knows his stuff. Right now I'm about 15 hours post-op. Pain is manageable. Overall it went much better than I thought. I am pleased with how good my boobies look for less than 24 hours post-op. I know they address slightly swollen and will drop more, so fast I love them. Way to go Dr. Ortega!!

I had a lot of reactions to the meds and have been feeling pretty bad. I think the take home antibiotic was too much for me. My stomach is still not right but my pain is still manageable if I stay ontop of the meds (I had to do some trial and error to find the right amount for relief without too many side effects). Currently just taking an Aleve every 12 hours and a half a percocet 5 every 6 hours. I think they might be starting to drop some. Still a while to go. My experience with Dr Ortega's office overall wasn't great (I think an efficient office manager would really help), but he is a very skilled surgeon who knows what he's doing. Im so glad i went to him.
