19 Years Old, No Kids, Breast Augmentation PRE OP: 32A - Miami, FL

Breast augmentation was always something I wanted since I only had very small mosquito bites as breasts! It made me uncomfortable wearing nice bathing suits, open back clothing (since I had to wear a bra) and Anything with a low neckline. I love fashion so this was he greatest issue for me. Two years ago my friend got breast augmentation and hers looked great and her recovery process was not that bad so I was 100% sure then, that this was something I wanted for me. At 19, it finally became affordable for me and I decided I wanted to go to the surgeon who did my mother's tummy tuck 10 years ago because she looks amazing and I felt extremely comfortable putting my body in his hands, considering how great he'd been with my mom and one of her friends. I chose Sientra 385CC, Round, silicone, high profile implants, under the muscle and inframarry incision and set the date for my surgery. My goal was to achieve a natural but full look. I didn't want anything too big as I am only 5'4, 125 lbs and have a small back. I was a little bit nervous since it was my first time ever undergoing surgery and being under anesthesia but everyone was so patient with me and answered all of my questions. I was so comfortable with Dr. Ortega and his team and I knew I was in great hands. The surgery was fast and recovery was NOT THAT BAD AT ALL. I took 6 days off of work and my breasts look great! As of today, I'm 9 days post-op and I love them.

I am currently one year post op. I got 385CC silicone implants and am a 34C post op. I am really glad i went with silicone because they look and feel EXTREMELY NATURAL. I will say that i wish I would've gone a little bit bigger but i am happy with my results. This was my first surgery ever and it was nerve wrecking but i had a pleasant experience post op. Waking up from anesthesia was a little weird because i woke up scared but everything went smoothly. I felt pressure on my chest immediately when i woke up; like an elephant sitting on my chest! the pain killers were great for the first three days post op but after that I only took them to sleep and mainly iced my chest throughout the entire day to reduce swelling. Even though i still experienced pain, the pain killers made me drowsy and i didn't want to feel like that all day. Walking around the house helped me move my bowels aside from taking a MILD stool softener. I started driving 10 days post op and it was HARD. If i didn't have to i probably would have waited another week to drive. My implants dropped quickly and i started seeing my results but you have to be patient with your body. for about 9 days post op i drank ALOT of fluids and ate mostly soups, chicken and low salt foods to prevent me from gaining too much weight from water retention. Overall i had an amazing experience because my doctor made me feel confortable every step of the way and was very knowledgeable. If i had to get another procedure though, i would think twice about going to his office because his staff was TERRIBLE!!!!! Having great staff ultimately sets your experience because they are the medium between you and your doctor and his staff made this communication so hard.
