I had a tummy tuck with hernia repair and breast...
I had a tummy tuck with hernia repair and breast lift with implants 6 months ago and I am disappointed with my results. My tummy is very flat except for when I'm swollen (yes, still getting very swollen after 6 months), but the flat tummy is the only thing I'm happy about with this surgery. Dr. Gurri made the scar jagged and way too high on my hips, especially on the right side which can be visible even when I'm wearing jeans. I'll have to wear high waisted everything if I want to hide it. The belly button is very ugly, round and scarred. The breasts are not really that lifted, they just hang there and have no cleavage unless I wear a push up bra. The nipples are visibly asymmetrical and look like circles drawn by my 4 year old. I'm not even joking. One looks like a tilted oval and the other like a badly drawn circle. One is noticeably higher than the other.
The doctor is nice and friendly but not worth the money. I was promised he would come see me at the hotel the next day after surgery and when I called to see if he was coming they told me he was in surgery and I had to come into the office. They knew they promised me that (which is the main reason why I chose this doctor to being with) and they proceeded to schedule surgeries for him when he was supposed to see me for my post op appointment.
The post op follow up was non existent. After they take your money they couldn't care less if you come in for your appointments or not.
Another complaint I have is that I emailed Milly (one of the coordinators) to inquire about scar revision for the jagged and high scar on my right hip, and she completely ignored my email. Some weeks later I emailed her again and she told me that they would have to do the whole scar (aka cut me open from hip to hip once again) and of course that meant I had to pay for it. I expressed my concerns back to her and never heard back again. I paid a total of $14,900 for this surgery. I did not choose the cheapest doctor, in fact, Dr. Gurri was the priciest out of all the doctors I consulted but I chose him because I thought he was the best choice but boy was I wrong. Other doctors even included lipo of the flanks with their tummy tucks and with this doctor it would have cost me I believe around $5000 more. The results are definitely not worth the money I paid. I was expecting so much more. Would not recommend him at all.
