I am having a mommy makeover done in Miami Florida...

I am having a mommy makeover done in Miami Florida in August which is about five hours away from home. I am just looking for any tips and ideas to help me prepare best I can. I will also be staying in a hotel a few days after the surgery. I'm soooo excited and nervous!!! How long should I stay at the hotel? Should I get the massages right away??

Hi, I did my make over in Monterrey nvo.leon so I needed to travel too but, l always exercised that help me I think with the pain cause iam on my 5th of operated and let me tell you so far no pain and I would always pray at night to please guide me through these huge surgery recovery which I always had wanted eat right and sleep enough that should help you recover good luck

If ur not sure you want to get your don't do it. You have to make sure of your decision girl. If u do god will guide you trust me. But always go with ur instincts that's your best choice.

Oh that's me just getting nervous but I am honestly so excited about this! I'm counting the days.... What does get to me is the guilt of the $$$ being spent on myself.... That always gets me down when I start thinking...

Never feel bad when your investing in yourself. Right now we have the expense of expanding my house and I still went for my mommy make over. My boys told me you don't feel bad that you invest so much $$$$$ I replied not at all. I had been saving for these like 5 years ago now that I have the money iam going for it. Especially that hubby is very supportive he told me if that will make you happy go for it. I did iam already on my second week of recovery and I feel great and happy that I took that huge step. Once your surgery and recovery is over you will be feeling thrive and happy like me.

So nervous!
I'm still a Little more than a month away from my surgery and I'm just so nervous and excited. I'm waiting for the office to I guess send me to get my physical and maybe be a mammogram? Did any one else have to have this done as well?

Hi, yes I did a physical not a mommogram honestly not even thought about it and I understand ur nervous but, most then anything be excited and think positive excercising helps alot in feeling no pain and always have faith good luck

Hi I feel like the site is not to personable. Maybe because I still haven't gotten the drift of using it :) but I would love to send and receive private messages from anyone that wants to be in closer contact throughout this scary and exciting process... I just feel kinda of lost and alone in this process.... And I would love a support system. And would love to also be a support system for anyone as well! Hope to meet you !

5 days with today it's just the walking but, honestly I feel blessed and my incisions are closing great and my breast augmentation it doesn't hurt at all at these point iam walking more by myself so yes, you can do it just have faith and walk alot before your make over

Hi I'm about 4 weeks away from getting my very first and hopefully only mommy makeover and I'm very nervous I was told not to watch the videos and of course I watch the videos! Any words of advice?
Thanks for sharing your story. I suggest checking in your surgery date on this calendar so you can meet others getting MMs around the same time. You might also find this forum post helpful.
