I'm not a vain person, this surgery is important...

I'm not a vain person, this surgery is important to me bc I had my first son when I was 15, and while he is my biggest accomplishment and a well rounded man now, the pregnancy left my body unrecognizable since I was so young. Anyhow, the procedure to me emphasis on me, was not as painful. It was more like discomfort. The drains were and are a pain in the rear and a nuisance. I'm 14 days po and I'm still draining dark from on side. Anyhow, I didn't buy lots of stuff like other folks on here did. I bought multivitamins, arnica, bromelian, papaya (I had the actual fruit and capsules), pineapple, I ate lots of fruits, drank lots of green juices. Naturally made foods. I'm a vegetarian so I made sure to eat lots rich in nutrient veggies, either by juicing or by hot foods. I did not take any pain medications. Only flexiril to help w muscle relaxing. After week one I stopped taking it. I did not use a recliner nor a hospital bed. I used king sized pillows to incline my back and legs. Like I said, that was for me. Not everyone has the same tolerance for pain and surgical procedures.

The other items I bought that were and are essential are my cleaning wound supplies. Arm and hammer Sterile Simple Saline, non sterile gauze, non steril cotton swabs (like qtips but one tip) and Neosporin a big one. Cleaning my wound is imperative.

My procedure was done in Miami. At Seduction Cosmetics. The staff there were super attentive, from my coordinator to the nurse and my therapist, everyone was cordial and of course my DR. Dr. Rodriguez, he was simply the best.

As you can see from my pics my breast look natural. (I apologize bc some are turned and upside down. Dr. Rodriguez suggested I go w 400cc for my implants. I wanted to go for 285-300 but I followed his recommendation. He told me I would look good and I would keep my natural sag, which was also important to me.

And he was right. I love how I look already and it's been two weeks tomorrow. I am still swollen and have a small dark area in my incision which I'm paying real close attention to in my cleaning. It's very common and occurred under the surgical tape. Once that came off, I've been cleaning it well and it's healing perfectly.

On more thing, my belly button it's very round and cute. This is bc I was instructed by my therapist to make sure that when I clean it out well and neosporin it, to leave the tip of the gauze round in it until you clean it again next time. I clean my wounds twice a day everyday.

I did have a lot of support and still do, that is also essential.

This is it for the most part.
