48 Yo Mom W/older Children (Including Twins) Finally Giving to Myself - Miami, FL

I waited till my kids were in college to finally focus on me. I also decided if I was going to do this, I was going to do this right, safe and the best doctor available. I've been researching doctors for over a year and finally concluded location was important, location of surgery, the doctor's specialty (tummy tuck vs augmentation) and of course costs. Home is a suburb in Dallas and I visited several doctors there- no one impressed me, lift w/ augmentation required 2 separate surgeries and scars from lift and augmentation left me with anchor scars and HUGE tummy tuck scar. It left me wondering : would this be worth it ? Is all the scarring really necessary? Do I still want to do this ? So I researched more to answer my questions and finally found my answers with Dr. Pat
Pazmino. This doctor has left me speechless, beyond words and that is uncommon for me. Lol
I felt guilty not sharing this hidden Gem. He's a magician! He's an artist! He's everything you need and if I didn't share my story with you, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.
Dr. Pat Pazmino performed my mommy makeover. He's specialty is a tummy tuck with lipo ..he doesn't get enough recognition for his lifts and augmentation. He's a humble man..OMG! Procedures are done at a Hospital Surgical Center therefore : peace of mind regarding emergencies and safety, and during the tummy tuck procedure more lipo can be given to perfect that hour glass figure (front & back) PLUS he feels the "anchor" lift technique is primitive and uses more up to date procedures to minimize scars . I was a 36 G with droopy breasts from breastfeeding.
My mommy makeover consisted of a llollipop lift and augmentation with HP 700 silicone implants and full tummy tuck with lipo (front & back).
I flew in from Dallas luv field texas to Fort Lauderdale 2 days before procedure to size and order my implants and finally meet and put faces on the friendly staff. You're treated delicately, respectfully, remarkably and superbly! Office staff and doctor are timeless and flawless ! I rented a car on southwest.com for 1 week (medium size Kia SUV $240 total). Accommodations for 9 nights were made on southwest.com @ The Beachside Apartment Hotel on Miami Beach (30-40 min drive to doctor office) . The hotel is a Boutique style hotel - LOVED IT ! it's an up and coming area, 1 block from a beautiful clean beach and 1 block from Collins Ave. The hotel staff treats you like family, management is impeccable and rooms comfortable, roomy and cozy. Perfect hotel and area when you need to walk around privately and "incognito." Lol. Doctor's office prefers you stay somewhere closer but this worked out perfectly... I wouldn't change my location. Everything is walking distance (grocers, beach, restaurants, cafes, private walks etc).
I also leased a recliner @ recliners rental.com for $135/week total - A MUST HAVE! Worth every penny! the cost included delivery at hotel and pick up, however I would suggest getting the recliner that has a stand lift in It. It will help.
I fly out Thursday and therefore my last appt with doctor Is tomorrow . I will follow up with a local physician in Plano.
Good luck everyone ..
I'm posting my before and after pics and continuing with more post op pics.
2 weeks post op/ minor set back
Had a few setbacks. The day I was leaving Miami, one of my drains completely fell off and the day after the other one too. Unfortunately I was still draining large amounts of fluid and I need my drains. I had to fly back to Miami and have the doctor suction out the fluid that was retaining and pocketing from the collapsed drains (horrifying) and replaced with new drains. (Note to self , keep stitches on drains for travelers). And here I am 3 days later (2 weeks post op ) and feel much better, swelling going down rapidly. Living my results every day ????
