Hello everybody! Hope all is well with everyone! Its been 10weeks already....feeling great! I recently did the 21 day challenge with Shakeology...the challenge is over but I am still drinking the Shakeology...next JJ Smith green smoothie cleanse! I don't want my money to be spent in vain so I intend to make the most out of this investment! I almost can't believe I went through with it....this website and the information shared amongst you all really really got the ball rolling for me otherwise it would still be just a dream! Thank you! Assistance 4 life was great...very caring folks...you will feel safe and cared for...they will also encourage you in a gentle fashion to do things on your own i.e. walking/eating... which is good for you trust me they will not steer you wrong. My best advice is dont bother overpacking....a small overnight bag with loose gowns/ maxi dresses is really all you will need as far a clothing! God bless.

Awww thank you...you are so welcome. Trust me, I was doing exactly what you are doing a few months ago...all of the ladies that posted their experiences helped me in a great way so its only right that I do the same...I learned so much and honestly got the courage to do the surgery because of this webpage. Being real is everything therefore have realistic expectations about your body and the outcome from surgery...its definitely not a overnight fix but it has given me motivation to do my part!! We only get one body so we may as well enjoy it and take care of it....most importantly be your own kind of perfect and you will love your results!!

That is so awesome, to have met a RS sister! Great work on putting in the extra work to look and feel your best! It isn't the easiest rjong to do for many people, but it is the best thing to do. Keep up the great work my sister!

Yea we do make some real connections. It's a difficult process and family & friends only understand and can only support so much. This sisterhood is awesome. It's been very positive experience for me.

Hey...thanks for your post. I will have surgery on the 3rd of December and I'm in the Army too...so this surgery will help me pass my tape test. Have you taken an apft yet?

Hello. I took my PT test before the surgery....just be mindful of the swelling after your surgery it could interfer with your measurements I am 3 months post and just starting to have less swelling. I don't think I could pass the push up event my core is so weak....its got better but still weak. I have until 24Nov that when my profile is up. Also, if you don't have a memo from your commander stating that he/she approved you to have elective surgery the clinic will not issue a profile....fyi.....so make sure you get that from your commander and see your provider as well.

I don't know what kind of cosmetic surgery you are having but its in your best interest to inform your command....if you were to have complications afterwards you could possibly be denied care from the military and you could also be subject to UCMJ...I'm sure you didn't want to hear that but thats our reality....I don't want to steer you wrong...best wishes...let me know if you need anything else

Thank you. I have been trying to find the AR stating that and I've come up with nothing. Do you have that regard? Any other suggestions for packing for the tt? Tricare approved my reduction. I plan on notifying my command. I just didn't know I was obligated to do so.

7weeks Post Op!!

This coming friday I will be 8wks post op!!! I'm feeling really good but I'm reminded from time to time that I'm not 100%. I will be ordering a smaller compression garment soon. Working out on the ellipitical, stairmaster, and stationary bike isn't bad at all I'm pretty much sticking to that and walking for now...Dr. Ortega said that I couldn't do any abdominal exercises until 3mths post op....nor have I done any lifting over 10-20lbs. I hope everyone is healing well and enjoying their results...and to those preparing for surgery God bless and I hope you all have a speedy recovery as well

What he told me 6 months for abs, but I went in on them abs at 5months, lmao! Your body will let you know for REAL though! If you feeling it at 3 then it's fine! You just for to heal that internal corset and your good to go. Happy healing Doll ;)

I ordered somethings from amazon that were misplaced in the mail....an ab board, mederma pm, and manuka honey. I finally got it yesterday...I used the ab board yesterday as well...it is placed inside of your faja for added compression. I am using bio oil and mederma for my scars. I will start the silicone strips as soon as I receive them.

Where did you order the silicone strips? I'm using bio oil on the closed part of my scar still waiting for about two openings to heal and close.... I want to have my silicone strips ready when that happens.. How is everything healing/prigressing for you? Please post pick soon!!!

I'm sorry for the late response hun but I ordered it from amazon however you can get them from the drug store. Everything is going well....I ordered a smaller faja a few weeks ago...still swelling but thats to be expected....some days are better than others but I am so thankful for no complications. How are you?
