Mammogram

So it took me to get here and wait 6 hours to meet Dr. Salas that he require a mammogram before breast implants. I was sent over to Sunset Radiology to get a mammogram that I had to pay out of pocket. The mammogram detected something, now I will also have to pay out of of pocket. If I would have known before hand I could have done this back home and take care of this issue before hand. I'm irritated by the staff that didn't inform me and this is something we could have avoided. Glad it won't be a waste of trip because I will still be getting a tummy tuck. Feeling drain prior to my surgery.

Waiting!!!
ReddsnoopJuly 30, 2014
Was told to come in between 9:30am to 10am, its now 1:24pm and I'm still waiting for my consultation. I hate their lack of scheduling like our time is not important. If I didn't travel from NC for this I would probably said F it and leave. Feeling very very annoyed.

Miscommunication
ReddsnoopJuly 26, 2014
I have read some of the stories from Vanity and I thought I was good until today. I was originally schedule for July 30th, but today I got a call from Dr. Salas assistant telling me that I needed to come in tomorrow to get lab work done and consultation (mind you I'm traveling from NC). When I schedule a month ago I told them I was coming from out of state. It doesn't make sense how they drop the ball a month ago and didn't know that Dr. Salas only comes Wednesday and Thursday, to make a long story short I'll be wasting a whole day in Miami because I arrive Tuesday but don't have my consultation till Wednesday and surgery Thursday. I'm a little irritated I hate having to ask my friend to ask for more time off from work. Let's just hope this is the only bs I have to deal with.

Thanks for starting your story on RealSelf! Sorry about the hiccup in scheduling. Maybe you can take that day to do something fun, get a pedicure or do some sight-seeing?
