I am a relatively young mom of 5 children, which includes a set of triplets. I was very unhappy with my appearance, and while I love my kids -- I wanted to look, and feel better about myself. I did the whole working out thing, but the kind of damage done having triplets, cannot be fixed with exercise and diet alone. So I did some research on the doctors in my area (Washington DC Metropolitan Area), and really did not find anyone I was necessarily intrigued by. A good friend of mine recommended I take a look at Dr. Salzhauer. His website was very professional, and when I called the office, the young ladies there were very receptive, very open and honest about what to expect etc. Looking ahead, I figured I could transform my visit into a mini vacation for my husband and myself while recovering, so I went ahead and decided to go forward.
Once I made the decision, Arianny contacted me so I could set up a virtual consultation with Dr. Miami. He and I spoke for in depth about what I wanted to have done, what I hoped to achieve, and about what he was capable of. He was very patient with me...and I know how busy he is, so I appreciated him taking that kind of time with me. From our conversation, I knew I made the right decision.
Throughout the process, I was able to call or email at any point, with questions, concerns etc. I interacted with Tatiana and Monica on a regular basis, and they were always helpful, and friendly. As I got closer to the date, their travel concierge Taylor made sure everything I needed was at my fingertips. She made certain that the day I touched down in Miami, everything was set. Verified that my hotel was all set, and that my prescriptions were at the office, ready and waiting when I came in for my pre-op appointment. During the pre-op appointment, Dr. Miami went over everything with us (my husband and I), went through what I should expect the day of, and the days to follow. When he was assured that I felt comfortable with everything, we filled out paperwork and I was all set.
The day of my surgery, everyone was again, very helpful and accommodating. I met with the surgical staff and each of them made sure I knew that they were available to address any concerns I may have had.
On to the recovery: When I woke up, I was already in my garment, and was being attended to by a very sweet young lady. Unfortunately I was so drugged up, I don't remember her name...but I do remember she was very sweet to me :). My husband and I went back to the hotel and I just slept. I didn't have any pain/discomfort whatsoever. The day after Yeilin ( I think that's her name) came to my hotel room to check on me. She was professional, caring and gentle. I was VERY sore when she came; she helped me walk around, clean myself up, you name she was there! I couldn't believe how attentive she was, and although she had other patients to tend to -- I never felt as though I wasn't her priority. She made sure my husband was comfortable with helping me change my bandages, clean my drain site etc.
The rest of my stay ( I stayed a total of 10 days) was pretty uneventful; my discomfort was well managed. Taylor stayed in contact with me the entire time I was there -- texting back and forth several times a day; she was making sure I was comfortable, making sure I didn't have any needs that weren't being addressed.
That following Thursday, I had my 1 week follow up visit, and there I met Yeni. She is such a sweetheart!! She was very kind, and patient with me as well. She explained everything she was going to do, before she did it. I have had experiences where nurses/med techs etc., just come in with the attitude of "ugh, let's just hurry up and get this done". They don't explain anything. This was not the case with Yeni :) Once I got back home to Maryland Yeni and I stayed in contact; no question was of limits. She is very knowledgeable as well. She would send me random text messages just to check in with me, see how I was feeling, to see if I was happy with everything, and to keep me updated on what I should expect.
My entire experience was a wonderful one. You can tell that Dr. Salzhauer cares very deeply about his patients, and that caring nature is shared among his staff. The atmosphere in that office is unbelievable (in a good way)! They take their work very seriously, and it shows. I would absolutely recommend him to anybody -- Florida or elsewhere! It is so worth the trip! If you are not doing so already, please follow him on IG, Snapchat...and anywhere else you can. He has such an amazing spirit, and he is so transparent. What you see is what you get with him and his staff. They are genuine people!!

Dr. Salzhauer is the epitome of professional! He was very patient, responsive, and caring. Any question my husband or I had was answered without hesitation; he is extremely knowledgeable, and his bedside manner is terrific!! I never felt rushed, and was extremely comfortable in his presence. He has a great sense of humor, as does the rest of his staff! It was a sheer pleasure having had the opportunity to meet "Dr. Miami"!!
