After researching the microblading technique for...
After researching the microblading technique for months and looking at hundreds of pictures in the internet I decided to go for the Hedman Method in Miami. They have an Instagram account that shows the natural before and afters I was looking for.
It was more expensive than most options, but it’s money well spent if you are the only Omni in our family with meh brows.
Johanna, the creator of this technique is amazing, beautiful woman in a beautiful office where they serve you cookies and bottled water all in an extremely professional vibe. She does the procedures herself.
First she applies a pain number cream and offers you a blanket while explaining the procedure .
Johnna asks you many questions, meticulously measures every inch of your face, eyes, nose, brows, suggests color, etc and then paints on you an exaggerated version of the shape she suggests for your brows and you can work with her adjusting if necessary ... I went with the first draft of her vision for my brows and couldn’t be happier.
During the process you feel like little cuts (no pain) as she draws little hairs.
I was scared of the reviews saying it was a painful procedure, that your eyebrows look horribly dark and asymmetrical the first days, etc that it’s normal to have regrets the irse day because you might look like a clon o one of those ventriloquist dolls. BUT IN MY CASE I DIDNT HAVE SECOND THOUGHTS, NOT EVEN FOR ONE MOMENT I HAD ANY REGRETS.
They looked amazing since day one and you can see proof of it in my pictures. They didn’t get swollen, The were perfectly symmetrical, natural, beautiful. I had little redness, very comparable to waxing and just for a few hours after the procedure.
She gives you a Vitamin A & D ointment and very precise instructions on how to care for them. No rubbing, washing the first days, no direct sun, etc
6 weeks later you come for a retouch.
I am obsessed with my brows and love waking up looking almost ready to go.
It’s not cheap but according to her I will be set with my perfect eyebrows for a whole year before I need a retouch.
I then found out people come from all the US to get her brows done by her, that’s how good she is.
I fully recommend the procedure with the Hedman Method ...

Professional, patiently explains every step and listens to what you want and don’t want. He followed up after the procedure to make sure I was doing ok.
