On my 30th Birthday I had a breast augmentation and lipo to help my shape. The augmentation was perfect, but the surgeon took fat from my hips and buttocks leaving me flat and looking less feminine. I stopped wearing clothes that were fitted and felt embarrassed around all the women in my family with shapely booties. Even with weight gain, my hourglass was gone.
My husband knew I dreamed of getting my defect fixed and he never brought it up. I told him I was going to have it done as soon as I finish paying of Grad School. He told me to schedule it and he handed me his bank card. Getting time off work was my biggest obstacle since I'm as OR Nurse at a busy trauma hospital.
I chose Dr. Mendieta by researching things that the layman probably wouldn't and I knew I wanted his expertise prior to speaking with him. His focus, artistry, and ability to create the appropriate curves isn't that common.
He is very professional and thorough. The staff was very courteous and professional. I am only 7 weeks out and I am patiently waiting for my final result although what I am seeing is absolutely beautiful. More importantly, I feel feminine again and he truly gave me something I thought was gone forever.

This procedure shouldn't be taken lightly, plan to give yourself sufficient time to heal. With my job 3-4 weeks off was appropriate. Next week will be 2 months and I'm still seeing changes and there is still swelling in some places. Be patient, your body takes time to heal.

hi! do you have photos of before and after? I’m also an RN and would love to know how recovery was for you and going back to work?
