BBL, 1 Day Post Op - Miami, FL

I have been meaning to write this review ever since I got my appointment date but I was worried if I would have the money so I waited to be sure. I got my BbL yesterday in Miami With Dr.Pat Pazmino. I am new to this site, I found it while looking around on helpmeheal.com about a month ago, but I have been doing research on this procedure for a while now, at least three years. Four years ago I had injections of Aquamid about 1000 mL on each side, but it had all but disappeared and I lost touch with the lady that did it soooo. While looking for a new injector I stumbled crossed the BBL again. I had look at this before but was told that most of the fat is reabsorbed and I didn't want to waste money. But this time I saw women's pictures years later and they still were beautiful, way better than my Aquamid LOL. I read about the most popular docs, like Duran, Campos, Jimmerson, Salama and found a very few others mentioned. I filled out the prospective patient info for all. The next day Cathy from Dr. Pazmino's office called me and said they have a cancelation for the 30th! I put the deposit down right then, I wanted to be mostly healed by the summer. For the next two weeks I did not really alter my lifestyle, I drank less alcohol but I did not take vitamins or try to gain extra weight. I am 5'1", 139 pounds, I told the doc to put every drop of fat into my butt. And from what I can tell he did.
After surgery I woke up around 5pm, I hired a women to pick me up from the clinic and take me to my hotel. I slept the whole way but any bump or stop hurt bad especially on the left. She and the doorman helped me inside and to me room, I could hardly walk and my eyes were swollen almost shut. Once upstairs the women told me she could not stay! We had a miscommunication(she speaks Spanish predominantly) she had to go back to her other job ....so I am alone. I got stuck for 40 mins half on and half off the bed because for some reason my left side is much more stiff than my right. I cried for 20 then call the front office were the manager told me they can't help me but they can call me a ambulance. Of course I told her no and slowly over a hour I worked my way onto the floor. That has been my only major incident thus far but it is only day 2. I ordered soup from room service and I am moving around pretty decently. Getting in and out of bed has been the hardest part.
My results re to soon to tell really, but so far I think he did a great job. I wanted hips and now they are huge! He also added a lot to the middle of my butt because I told him I did not want a huge shelf. But he did my back scoop very deeply so I still have a shelf but it looks more natural. I was supposed to have my inner thighs lipped to so I would have a gap, but I'm not sore there so idk what happened. I have my post op appointment at 11am today, where I will get to see myself for the first time and have my drains checked and cleaned. I would not recommend doing this alone, I was supposed to have someone with me but last min they could not get time off (it was very short notice), and I have not told ANYONE that I did this. I am managing ok but things would be sooo much less painful if I had help. Speaking of pain it is really not horribly bad. I have no kids and have never had surgery before so I was very very concerned/scared that I would be in excruciating pain, but it is not been that way for the most part. I really just feel like I did a really crazy workout or took a assbeating. I was military so I have had both, lol. I can see some bruises starting form, and my throat hurts like hell, but other than that it's just my left side that is actually painful. Coughing is killing my abs and this is the most core work I have done in a long time(lifting myself off/on the bed). I am only staying in Miami for 5 days , I will be doing a lot of walking so my drains can be taken out in time. I have twos drains, one at the base of my pubic bone and the other right at the start of my butt. I have been in and out of sleep due to the meds and I feel another nap coming so I'm going to go. I will right about my post op appointment and put some pics up tomorrow.

So I was told the first 48 hours are the worse but I seem to be getting worse. My best friend Max flew out yesterday and I am so glad he did. The first day I was doing really well but I took a turn in the late afternoon. I walked 3 times and I have been icing constantly but I am getting more stiff. I tried to take a shower so Max and I fought it off me. It took about 20mins and by the end I was so dizzy I lasted down and slept for a hour. Max washed my garment and after 3 attempts to stand he finally just wiped me down in the bed. Being stiff is so confining and I am being grumpy and b itchy but cleaning the drains is the hardest part. It creates suction and I can feel it in the stomach. I am taking the pain meds from the doc and in between taking Tylenol PM. I brought very little with me because my doc provided almost everything. They gave me my garment, sitting pillow, special chair and a list of other things I needed.
