Update: This was almost 4 months post op
I have to say I’m very satisfied with Dr. Alvarez and his work. This pic was almost 4 months post op. As far as eating I control what I’m eating because I didn’t pay 4K to be eating up the 4000 cc’s they sucked out. lol I’ve been in and out of my faja. My skin is still moldable. I wear my ab board and waist cincher belt because if I wear pants over my stomach the indent will temporarily be there because it’s still moldable.
8 week update
So reaching 8 weeks has been beautiful. I went to Jamaica and l was in a wedding. Oh my goodness. People were like girllll you are giving body!!! Lol my boyfriend just loves it.
I am still feeling a burning sensation every now and again. Usually when I am getting up from sleeping or laying down for a long period of time. This itching gets out of control sometimes for me still. I still have swelling when I’m out of my faja but it’s nowhere as bad as when I first had surgery.

Compression is Key!
I know it may seem uncomfortable at times but you have to stay in the faja for compression for many reasons. The compression helps with the pain/burning sensation feeling I go through. The tighter the better and it helps keep the swelling down. My compression method has been very simple: Cami, ab board, faja and Velcro waist cincher belt. Starting next week I’m going to try something new using the poise pads. I plan on lining them up in my faja for added compression. I’ll do cami, poise pads, ab board, faja and waist cincher belt. I want to see if the added compression helps.
