After having such an incredible experience and...
After having such an incredible experience and magnificent results with Dr Franco when he did my breast augmentation back in July I wondered if there was anything that could be done to fill in my very flat rear end. After consulting with Dr. Franco, he suggested doing a fat transfer to my hips and butt cheeks. At first I was a little bit hesitant because I did not want my Booty to look fake or noticeably surgically enhanced but, he took the time to explain to me every step which was going to take place during this procedure. The procedure is done by performing liposuction to the abdominal area, flanks (love handles), back and inner thighs and once the fat is removed it is put through a process in which the liquid of all the fat is removed leaving only the pure fat cells to be injected into the butt cheeks and hip area.
The day of the surgery I was not nervous at all, I was actually very excited, I believe it was because of how happy I was with how smoothly everything went with the first surgery. The staff at Miami Plastic Surgery is one of a kind, they took such great care of me before and after the surgery. Dr. Franco began by explaining to me the exact areas where he would be making small openings to perform the liposuction and once I was all drawn up with markings I was ready to go in to surgery!
After Surgery:
Waking up after surgery I was in a little bit of discomfort but after taking the pain medication I was in hardly any pain. For the next two weeks after surgery I was not allowed to lay down face up or sit down because that hinder the freshly new relocated fat cells. Honestly I thought that was going to be much more of a hassle than it really was. The two weeks passed by rather quickly and I managed without a problem. I was given a garment to wear everyday and night for the next 6 weeks. I actually became very accustom to wearing it everyday and night. The most discomfort I felt from the fat transfer procedure was in the areas where the liposuction procedure was performed, but it was not unbearable pain. Still to this day, 7 weeks after surgery I still wear my garment every day and night. I purchased two more that way I would be able alternate them between washes.
One main worry of mine was that I was not going to be able to work out for a while. Dr Franco gave me the OK to begin working out lightly after 3 weeks. Since then I have been working out every day, wearing my garment of course !
I am very happy with the results of my surgery, although at first I was very swollen from the liposuction I feel that every week that passes by I become smaller and smaller which shows me more and more results of the procedure.
Another important aspect of the recovery period is that Liposuction post surgical massages. I was recommended to a specific place by my area that offers these massages and I have noticed that as a result of the massages my inflammation has gone down faster.
Overall I am very happy with both my surgeries and would recommend Dr Franco to anyone interested in any type of plastic sugary procedures.

Provider Review
Dr. Franco always demonstrates the up most professional care with his patients. I have had 2 different surgeries with him and am always very happy with the results of not only his work but the care he provides his patients with. No question is too silly and no question is ever left unanswered. As a returning patient of his, I felt that he always wanted to make sure I understood the procedure and that was very important to me.
