I had my cool sculpting procedure done on my upper...

I had my cool sculpting procedure done on my upper and lower abdoment exactly 12 days ago. The procedure itself was uncomfortable for the most part everything you've read in its reviews is true about the intense suctioning and extreme coldness. The procedure itself is not worse then the aftermath; the massage right after they remove the suctions are excruciating. I have heard everyones recovery is different and apparently only 5% of patients who do cool sculpting experience Nueropathy; unfortunately I was one of the 5% and let me just say I wouldnt wish this pain on my worst enemy. Neuropathy is basically nerve pain which feels like you pins and needles; as if you are being stabbed repeatedly over and over again with no second of relief; the best part is this pain will cause you to lose sleep and lasts for up to 2 weeks after you've had your procedure. My pains began on day 3 and am still currently experiencing them and I am on day 12. I have tried everything in the book; 800mg Ibuprofen, heating pads, sleeping pills to help me sleep; nothing helped and not even the strongest sleeping medications helped me sleep. The experience is awful. My pains only started to subside at day 10. The ONLY thing that helps with this pain is ICE. ICE COLD ICE. The only thing that gives you some type of relief. And considering I have a full time job I had to go hours without my ice packs and it was the most difficult thing i had ever had to do. I had called out 2 days from work and I would have called out more if it weren't for exceeding my days off. On day 12 I still feel the Neuropathy but it is much more bearable; I still don't like to go to long without my ice pack. I am just hoping one of these days I will wake up and be pain free but unfortunately it seems so far at this point. If I see the difference in my body I am hoping for at the 3 month mark then I will say this procedure was worth it. But as of right now I'm doubting myself about my decision to do this over lipo. Atleast with lipo your aware of the recovery and at the time needed off of work and are proscribed the proper medication to help with the pains of recovery. With this it was completely unexpected. I will keep you guys posted with my recovery!

Hope this helped some of you!
