Hi Everyone,

Went in today 04/04/2018 and decided to do CoolSculpting, obviously it wasn't done right then and there as soon as I walked in but I had have my consultation a week prior. A quick recap about me in 2007 I use to be obese (298lbs) fast forward 11 years - I ended up losing 150lbs (natural no surgery or anything). I'm skinny, athletic and a avid runner (i love running) anyway my biggest problems have been the left over fat in my abdomen area. No matter how many miles I ran, how skinny I got, how many sits ups or abdomen exercises i would do they just wouldnt go away.

I honestly loathe about the idea of going under the knife or doing any major surgery that would change my body figure and or risk complications so that is why I decided to try this out first.

Q: Is the entire process painful ? No, during the beginning of the process and applying the applicator it does not hurt at all. Once they activate the cold setting then you'll feel that area cold / slight hot its a weird feeling, a little bit of a bothersome, but definitely not painful. Personally I think part which was a little be tense was when they take the applicator off and begin massaging it, thats when you really feel tender, uncomfortable and sore. However, after about 10-15 minutes you're going to start noticing the pain and tender feeling going down (based on my experience now). My location provided me a compression garment, so either ask if your location has one and if they dont buy one .. it will help.

Q: How long did it take ? I did both my left and right side flanks at the sametime and it took 35 minutes in total. Time flies by faster if you have something to read, or play games or just take a little nap.

Q: Would you recommend it ? Honestly at the moment I can't answer that, not because it didn't work or because I am displeased but because today is Day 1 (the day of the procedure) so I wont see any results until a couple of weeks down the road. However, i will post follow up pictures - and if you're like me that is trying to avoid going under the knife as a last resort .. then id say take a second look into this type of procedure.
