Adult Cleft Lip and Nose Revision and Fat Graphing - Miami, FL

I am a 25 yr old male that was born with a cleft lip and palette. I underwent numerous plastic surgeries as a child to repair my palette and lip. Unfortunately after the final one as a toddler I fell and broke open the stitches on my lip resulting in a noticeable scar and uneven lip. I also had a very uneven nose with only one working nostril. I scheduled a consultation with his very friendly staff and was very pleased with my first visit to his office. Dr. Maercks actually took the time to sit down with me and discuss what I wanted out of the procedure and presented me with different options to go about achieving my goals. He has a very state of the art clinic and the best staff i've ever dealt with in a doctors office! I immediately scheduled the procedure we agreed on and underwent surgery at the Maercks institute in their board certified operating room. No crowded hospitals or questionable recovery rooms! I underwent my procedure on a friday and Dr. Maercks not only gave me his personal cell number to call him for any concerns but he actually came to my hotel room the next day to check up on me and make sure I was doing well. I have never met a doctor that cared so much about his patients well being.
It has been a little over a month since my procedure and I am very happy with the results! Dr. Maercks completely transformed my nose and built me a new nostril. Now not only is my nose much better looking but for the first time in my life I can breath out of both nostrils! In addition to my nose he also repaired my scar on my lip making it virtually invisible and performed a facial balancing fat graph that gives my face a much more attractive symmetrical look. I couldn't be happier with the out come and I owe it all to Dr. Maercks!!
