So today marks the beginning of my journey to that "perfect body" I have in mind. I have long been a fan of plastic surgery....mainly for the body (I am absolutely happy with every part of my face LOL) and I never had the $$$ or had the money but wanted to use it for other things like BILLS!! lol Well now I am 30yrs old...my career has taken off a bit and while I could probably pay off some student loans quicker I have decided to do something for ME and get the fat that is very problematic sucked away!!! WHoooohoooooo!!! I am getting Liposuction in my upper back, lower back, abdomen and flanks and a fat transfer to my buttocks. Now I absolutely do not want to look like Nicki Minaj or K.Michelle I do however LOVE J'LO's curves and Kim K. I have chosen to go to Dr. Salzhuer in Miami. His work is amazing!! He not only sucks the fat and transfers it he really knows how to contour a woman's body without it looking too fake or blow-up dollish. I like how open and honest his staff are about what to expect as well as the sharing of information and being extremely transparent from everything regarding the cost to procedure to what to expect when traveling from out of state. There is a Doctor here that lots of the women go to (Dr. Jimerson) but after seeing lots of his work....I really am not a fan. Not taking anything away from him I just don't want my butt looking like its growing out of my back. Dr. Salzhauer really makes women look proportioned for their hip to thigh ration.
Today is Day1 of my journey as I just paid the deposit which secures me a surgery date!! Yayyyyy!!!! I am having a ton of anxiety though....should I spend this much on myself at one time? What to tell co-workers about why I am off for a month (they are so nosey and I am definitely not telling them where I am going)? what friends NOT to share it with since some will be jealous (I love them but they don't even want to try and workout to get healthy....I on the other hand have tried for a few years to get the belly fat gone) and the list goes on. Anyone else experience this king of anxiety?

When I initially spoke to my coordinator she said I would be able to get surgery in April now I paid the deposit today and its June 3rd!!! WTF?!?!? I want a new body before it gets hot and I have to walk aroung wrapped up like a mummy in Georgia heat! I need a drink to calm down. Hopefully someone will reschedule and I get to take their date. I am so bummed right now.

Thanks girlie!!! After speaking to the one friend that can understand she has convinced me that I will get a date sooner due to people rescheduling...I feel a lot better. # Someday

Well I do agree with your friend. Ppl do reschedule surgeries for many different reasons. Dr sal is an amazing Dr. Good luck mama !!

You'll be able to have it sooner because like one poster said, people reschedule all the time. Just ask to be placed a standby/waiting list until your date just in case.

Same thing happened to me. I paid my deposit today and they gave me June 5th and on Monday when I called they told me it would be the second week of May. I hope I can get a earlier date too

Yeah they are busy over there. I wanted to go in March but they can't seevme until Apri. I'm hoping for a cancellation as well. My gf was going to go with me and they wouldn't be able to see her until the end of June. She's now searching for a new DR. Which sucks because we both wanted to see Dr. Sal.

Yes I will definitely keep you ladies posted. My friend said wearing that farmer in the summer sucks so that was another reason for wanting to change the date to earlier

I know right clean eating scares me because I am Cuban and that's all I know how to cook!! I will need to make time for the gym too! I will let you know once I hear back from doctor S re my body and surgery
