One year one month post op and I'm happy to report that overall I'm finally healed and have resumed all if my normal activities. I'm not 100 % satisfied with my end results as far as viewing my butt nakad, I could use more fat ( but I don't have any) so for going from completely flat to itleast something is better especially in clothes. I have some odd deposits on the lower right buttock that I don't like but trying to do some butt lifts to help with that. In clothes it is not noticable and looks great. My guy lives my butt so that helps with my confidence that it was an improvement. I'm 56 years old so nothing on me is perfect lol. Anyone that has read my journey knows that it was a hard hard road for me. I was sure I had made the biggest mistake of my life and I was sure is never be normal agsin. I'm do happy to report that pretty much everything is good. There's always gonna be a bit of difference and not feel completely natural but pretty darn close. I wanted to post and tell everyone that though I'd probably not do this agaim. Im no longer unhappy that I did it a year later. I'm happy to answer questions for anyone.

Things have finally settled into place and although these implants are not 1pp % comfortable all the time.. certain positions are not comfortable . Even laying back in a bath tub has it's moments. HOWEVER I do like the look and I catch myself not thinking about them a lot now. Anyone that has followed my journey knows it's been a tough one for me but it's so so so much better now.

I’m so glad things are so much better! I totally agree with the discomfort in certain positions. I doubt that will ever go completely away:( But you look fab!

8 months and doing so much better.I'm posting pics ( just remember I had No butt before.. (don't think I have any pics eaither)and this is a 56 year old honey lol.. it's not perfect but it's a huge turn around for me. I'm Still not 100 % but I'm getting better & better. I've got a small problem on my lower right butt cheek I think cool sculpting later on or some kind of sculpting can fix. It's like a pocket of fat that gravitated there. Looks weird. However I'm not going to stress on it too much . Exercise which I've not done yet will possably help. Overall though my butt has softened up and relaxed and dropped to where I think it's going to be. It's still firm but not rock hard as it was before. Sitting on cushioning still isn't comfirtable. I have woke up several times on my back now and can lay on it for longer periods of time now. Sex for the first time on my back and it was fine. So we will see as I've said I want to see how skiing is this next winter that's going to be my goal and if I can do that without fear of hurting my booty then I'll be a whole lot happier. I had never thought of that once before doing this and when I did I thought my world had crashed. I don't know why it never entered my mind before. There's a up close of my scar which dosent bother me at all. I'm also going through tatoo removal across my back so the sporadic ink you see is that ( omg that's the worst pain ever and it feels like I'm being cut with glass. ) Thanks everyone for the encouragement and being here for me through this journey.

Hi! I have been following your journey since your first posts...and you have definitely come along wonderfully..! Your progresses are amazing and those minor issues you were pointing out will go away in time. As a personal trainer, I strongly recommend to go back to your work out routine and you'll see the benefits it will bring to you.

Thank you, yes I'm ready now to work on myself. I'm 8 lbs heavier and I'm not toned. So I've got some work to do. Thank you for your encouragement.

Yay!!!! You look fantastic! I’m so happy that things are getting better for you. How nice you are able to do more than the last time you posted. I love to ski as well so I can relate to how you might be feeling about that. I decided that I would try to ski again but just take it easy and not go on the bumps Or anything too difficult. I think you look great and I am happy for you, and I feel like the other girl was right to mention you should get back to the gym and work on getting back to where you were before surgery so you can feel better all the way around! Thanks For posting your update!.

hey I have a question. You mentioned a fat deposit lower right. You mentioned getting it fixed. I greatly fear I will need to do the same thing, lower left. How are you thinking you will fix it? Lipo?
March 13, 2018
Yes or cool sculpting. I got to check that out. Freeze the fat I think. It just hangs low and looks distorted. I didn't pay for this to still feel bad about it so I will do something if exercise dosent fix it which I doubt will in that area.

I wanted to know how you are doing right now with your implants ? Have they gotten better and more comfortable in all positions for you. Can you run again and do gym classes?
Would it be possible to email you and ask you a few questions? I would really appreciate it. It would help me in making my decision to keep or remove my implants. I am very happy with the way they look but not sure if I can be as brave as you are . Thank you very much.
