Surgery Day
So I went in around 10:15 this morning, as soon as I got there I was given a sterile cup for urine, and provided a sample. once complete maybe about 15 minutes later I was taken to a room and was told to change for the procedure.
I waited for maybe another 45 minutes and Dr. Ortega came in to examine me and went over the procedure process thoroughly. The anesthesiologist came in shortly after and also went over his process in detail. After speaking with both of them I was at ease. When he finished his talk we went back to the OR and I was OUT within 5 minutes.
I woke up in recovery; what felt like minutes after I knocked out, in crazy pain. The nurse quickly gave me an injection of something and it sort of dulled it but I still felt pain.
I've pretty much been sleeping all day until now and have only taken some Tylenol and one of the relaxers they prescribed me.
