I want to share with you my experience and I have...

I want to share with you my experience and I have added my initials for you to contact Dr. Vazquez's office in case you need to talk to me or just need support ( I never had anyone to talk to and felt this issue was too personal to discuss with relatives or friends). Six years ago I had a breast saline implant by a reputable doctor on Key Biscayne. I never received any information from this doctor about before or after procedure nor did I ask him. The information I obtained was strictly computer knowledge. My doctor's background made me feel that I trusted him 100%. After the expensive procedure at Mercy Hospital (6 years ago) I didn't even obtain a required card that after a procedure a patient should be provided to to identify the maker and warranty of the implant. After a month of the procedure I contacted the doctor's office, I was under the threat of an expensive office visit. I was on a waiting list to see him. When I finally saw him, after a three hour wait. The nurse yelled my name in front of everyone (again this is a personal issue). At the time I was in desperation, my breast felt like two hard basketballs. Disgusting! His response was my body rejected the implants and it will eventually improve over the years. Stupid me, fell for that excuse. I even had a sharp plastic from the implant sticking out of my breast, he responded to rub it everyday.

April 2013

I woke up one morning and noticed my right breast was flat (call it, nightmare). Cried out of shock and immediately called the doctor from Key Biscayne that did the procedure 6 years ago, they scheduled a one month visit as an emergency. They were not interested I had an emergency. When I finally saw him, he stated, deflated and needs to be redone and I must have urgently a MRI (not necessary and a waste of money). I asked about any warranty he stated no, redo with fat for $26,000. (ridiculous!) or same saline for $7,000. I contacted the office manager and I asked for my files when the procedure was done 6 years ago, 'cause I financially could not pay those high prices. The doctor had built a facility on the island, in my opinion I thought the cost would be less. They never responded, in a matter of 2 months I ended up calling 15 times. I didn't know the size of the implant, call me dumb. To this date, I could have died and they never cared to contact me back with the records nor how I was doing with this situation.

Dr. Vazquez name was highly recommended by my gynecologist not only did I have a deflated breast I was bleeding due to heavy periods. I needed another procedure with a high deductible. I was totally devastated, emotionally and physically. How can I go to the gym and wear a gym bra with a deflated breast or even a dress (total nightmare of an experience). Worse situation was, summer is about to begin and my family is preparing Disney water parks vacation weekends. My gynecologist stated that the most natural breast she has ever seen were from Dr. Vazquez surgeries, she recommended three names. I took her advice by contacting Dr. Vazquez office and the following is my wonderful experience. When I called Dr. Vazquez office I spoke to a warm caring manager named Diane, she immediately set the appointment for the following day. I told her I didn't have my files. She gave only solutions, like contact the hospital and request it from them ( which I did). She told me that most likely I was under warranty for the actual implant (she was right). Plus these companies are reputable and not to fear. It meant so much to me those words of confidence and it was a summer for medical deductibles for me and my family, my middle school daughter was diagnosed with a heart condition. Mercy Hospital took another month and a half to send me the files. During that month and half, Diane called me twice to find out how I was doing. When I contacted Mentor the implant company, they informed me I was already on a list in verification status (thanks to Diane). I already had a case number. All this wait could have been prevented if the former doctor would have provided me the file. Once I paid in full and Mentor sent the implant to the doctor's office I was set for the operation. To my surprise, I received an incredible explanation from the nurse about the procedure. Then I received another explanation about the procedure from Dr. Vazquez. The Operation was set for Aug 2013, excellent experience with Dr. Vazquez's professional staff before, during and after the operation. Everything I have been told to take and care for has been perfect and helpful. The scar is barely noticeable, my breast feel and look natural. It's beautiful! Dr. Vazquez is caring, at every visit he makes sure I ask all my questions and I am 100% satisfied. At my last visit (today) I received my Mentor's card and found out I can pay (to Mentor) an extra amount that will further insure me for doctor fees. I never knew all this. Every time I have visited Dr. Vazquez office, its done in a discreet manner in calling my name or providing information. I consider all this very private and personal information. I so totally recommend Dr. Vazquez and his professional staff to anyone looking for a breast procedure. It is my understanding everyone has their own healing time or experiences. My experience was sensational. I am so grateful to Dr. Vazquez and his professional staff. They are my angels!
