I want to share with you my experience and I have added my initials for you to contact Dr. Vazquez's office in case you need to talk to me or just need support ( I never had anyone to talk to and felt this issue was too personal to discuss with relatives or friends). Six years ago I had a breast saline implant by a reputable doctor on Key Biscayne. I never received any information from this doctor about before or after procedure nor did I ask him. The information I obtained was strictly computer knowledge. My doctor's background made me feel that I trusted him 100%. After the expensive procedure at Mercy Hospital (6 years ago) I didn't even obtain a required card that after a procedure a patient should be provided to to identify the maker and warranty of the implant. After a month of the procedure I contacted the doctor's office, I was under the threat of an expensive office visit. I was on a waiting list to see him. When I finally saw him, after a three hour wait. The nurse yelled my name in front of everyone (again this is a personal issue). At the time I was in desperation, my breast felt like two hard basketballs. Disgusting! His response was my body rejected the implants and it will eventually improve over the years. Stupid me, fell for that excuse. I even had a sharp plastic from the implant sticking out of my breast, he responded to rub it everyday.

I woke up one morning and noticed my right breast was flat (call it, nightmare). Cried out of shock and immediately called the doctor from Key Biscayne that did the procedure 6 years ago, they scheduled a one month visit as an emergency. They were not interested I had an emergency. When I finally saw him, he stated, deflated and needs to be redone and I must have urgently a MRI (not necessary and a waste of money). I asked about any warranty he stated no, redo with fat for $26,000. (ridiculous!) or same saline for $7,000. I contacted the office manager and I asked for my files when the procedure was done 6 years ago, 'cause I financially could not pay those high prices. The doctor had built a facility on the island, in my opinion I thought the cost would be less. They never responded, in a matter of 2 months I ended up calling 15 times. I didn't know the size of the implant, call me dumb. To this date, I could have died and they never cared to contact me back with the records nor how I was doing with this situation.
