Well, I've been gone for a while. I've been busy getting settled back home and doing a course.

I can say I'm really happy with the results so far. I still have soreness/pain in my left breast and sometimes even now in my right. I don't know if it's from working out, or if it's the nerves healing. I emailed Yadira about my concern and she said its normal to feel pains for up to a year. I also spoke to a friend who got a BA about a year ago and she told me that she just recently stopped feeling those pains. I'm glad I have friends who have had BA's and I can run to advice for.

I hope my January ladies are progressing well. I need to check up on you girls!

You look great! I'm still having little sharp pains, too, and I work out 5-6 days a week. My left nipple is super sensitive and I can't seem to keep my nipples from showing no matter if it's hot or cold! Haha! But I love them. Still need my left breast to drop a bit more, but Yadira says it can take up to 6 months for full dropage! I'm glad you're happy!!

Starting to feel like myself again

It's been 3 weeks! Time flies, but I wish it flew faster (in terms of dropping and fluffing). My right breast seems to be doing very well and my left one is doing a lot better. It's still numb/sore in the lower pole and both nipples are still quite sensitive. My scars are healing nicely, but sometimes get itchy. I just put on some coconut oil to keep it moisturized. I've looked up essential oils to mix to help with the scar tissue. I don't know if I want to use bio oil since I've read mixed reviews. Does anyone have any input on what they use or on bio oil? I know I said I would be using silicone strips but I'm a sucker for holistic, natural stuff.

My scar tissue that's forming is also causing some pain and feels quite hard. Anyone have any advice on that? Or experienced it and how long it took to go away? I don't know if it's normal, but the scar from my femur surgery went through the same process, so I'm going to assume it's normal for scar tissue to become tough (I'm also a human biology major, so that's why I'm not so worried about doing too much research). I'm just try to massage out the scar tissue as best as I can to loosen it up.

Well, here are my photos. It seems to be going well. I am still a little high in the upper pole, but I'm massaging as much as I can and just being patient. I am DYING to go back to the gym, even if it's just to do some leg exercised without weights and stair master/ inclined farmers walk on the treadmill.

Hope all your ladies are doing well!

Any idea on what your bra size is yet I'm a week ahead of you with 425ccs and I'm at a 36DD I'm shocked! Lol

Oh wow! Jealous! I was at the mall today so I decided to get sized. The lady measured 32DD (which is what I wanted pre-op)... Kind of wish I was a 32DDD. Boob greed at its finest!

haha ditto on the gym mania, Im losing it over here. Yes for holisitic remedies! Look up castor oil for wound healing. Its what I use for everything and it works incredibly well. Make sure you get the hexane free version. My left/right are healing on their own time tables too, grrr, but yours look great so far and Im sure will get better every week!

Oh thanks for that idea! I'll be looking for some. I have some but I don't know of it's hexane free.

2 week post op

So I've had my up days and down days. I went back to work this past weekend, and it was pretty difficult maneuvering through a club crowd, but I got through it. I didn't take pain killers because I want to feel the pain to know if I should slow down and take it easy and listen to my body.

I took my steristrips out day 10, and I was really happy with the scars. I stopped wearing my strap (yayyyyy!) because I was told I didn't need to wear it anymore. Yadira has still been wonderful with any questions I have and in communicating with Dr. Freiman for me.

The extra pain that I've been feeling in my left boob has gone down a lot, but still a little sore. They are still riding high, but it's only been two weeks, and being patient is really difficult! Last night was the first night I fully slept on my side and it was WONDERFUL. I actually had a dent in my bed where my butt is when I sleep on my back. My husband is still wonderful. He massages my back when it's sore, helps with taking off shirts and has walked the dog two times a day (we usually split that duty).

I've been doing my massages and it feels weird to feel the pocket at the bottom open up. I freak out and think I'm doing it too hard and that I will bottom out. For anyone who's bottomed out, what does it feel like? I thought my left one was going to bottom out because it was just chronically sore and hurting, but the pain has subsided and it looks similar to my right breast. I worry a lot about all the things that could go wrong!

Hey girl! Looking good:) Massage is a tricky thing, I just wrote about it last night actually. I say tricky because not all docs recommend it so its hard to know whats right. My doc does NOT recommend, so Im only doing veryyyy light movements, just moving the implant up, but never down because of potential bottoming out. I DID have a bottomed out implant my first BA and my original doc DID have me massage. My current doc has gorgeous before/afters with great cleavage so Im heeding his advice. Capsular contracture is technically a risk for everyone regardless of massage so Im not sure I believe its necessary, and considering all the pocket work I had done I dont want to screw it up. That being said Im still continuing light lymphatic massage to help with swelling. Oh, and Ive got one side thats wayyyy more sore too, but ironically the less swollen side. At 11 days out its hard to be patient, so I understand. Good luck!

Yeah, I've been reading on massages on here and there are SO many different answers. I've actually been instructed to push the implant down. Now I'm concerned, but Dr. Freiman says he's never had a patient bottom out (knock on wood!). He actually said because of my original noon shape and being lower pole heavy and barely anything on the upper pole, that my overall result will look like it's bottoming but it's not. It kind of confused me, which is why I have been so paranoid. But right now they look ok. Thanks for your input! Maybe I'll just go a little lighter on the massages, but my boobs have gotten a lot softer. Hope you're doing okay and that your swelling goes down soon.

So confusing I know!! And I had so much lower pole fullness that my goal was to get rid of some of that. My nipples were riding so high, it was weird. Thats being said, I love fullness at the bottom as long as its proportional. Just stick with your docs suggestions and keep everything in moderation and your body will do the rest. It knows what to do!:)

My doc is the same way, he doesn't believe in massaging either. He has over 30 years of experience so I definetly take his advice.

It's funny you mention about walking your dogs. I'm worried about that. I have two doggies and one likes to pull on the leash and the other wont walk down stairs so I have to carry him everyday (he's 15lbs) I have my bf here to help me the first week but then he has to go back to work :-/

Oh no. Do you know someone who could do your dog walking for a little while? I think one week might me too early. If not, I thought about having the leash around my waste but it would be hard if the dog needs to do his business.

ive kind of came up with a plan. Walking them sepretly, the one who pulls I'll tie around my waste. The one I need to carry I might just have to pick up to go down the stairs (I know you're not supposed to lift over 10lbs, I think it is, but i might have to just pick him up quick to get downstairs) and he walks easy on a leash. Worst case is I let the little guy go in the house till my bf gets home :( You never realize how much you use your chest muscles like that till you think about all the little things you can't do!!
