Post Op day 1-5

So currently I'm on day 5 post op. I had my post op appointment the day after surgery. Dr. Freiman was unavailable but that was to be expected after reading a lot of reviews from other BA sisters. I had my post op with Dr. Ortega who took a look at my new boobs and provided me with information about post op care. Everything was pretty straight to the point. Towards the end I was told to purchase a compression strap which I was glad he did because my implants were riding high. Fast forward to days 2-3 I was literally like a baby T-Rex and relied heavily on my boyfriend. On day 2 I was off pain medication and muscle relaxers. I was never big on pills. When there was pain it went away fairly quickly. I did have back and shoulder pain but they weren't terrible. On day 3 I left Miami and took a 3 hour flight home - pretty scared something was going to go terribly wrong but everything was fine and I had a smooth flight. On post op day 4-5 I stayed home and rested in a reclining chair. Currently have most of my arm mobility back. The implants however seems to be quite high still which gives me the boobie blues. It doesn't seem like they have dropped since day 2 even with the compression strap. I know I'll just have to give it some time.. I'm going back to work again on POD7 and I have no idea on how to hide the strap.. ????

The big day!

On the day of preop + surgery I was actually a little late. Ended up arriving 30 minutes late due to crazy traffic & getting lost. Once there I signed a bunch of papers that basically informed me of risks, complications and instructions. When that was completed I was led to a small room where I took my pre-op pics. The pre-op nurse was such a sweetheart and answered all the questions. After all that was done I took a pregnancy test and was led away to a room where I met Dr. Freiman for the first time. This unfortunately was the first and probably last time I saw him. He was very informative and seemed like he knew exactly what I wanted after I showed him my boob inspirations. When he told me that he was going to put in 400ccs XHP on my right and 460ccs XHP on my left i was really shocked. I consider myself to be a pretty petite person, I didn't think that I would be able to fit 460cc.. But he reassured me that it would give me the size I wanted so after going back and forth we decided to stick with what he recommended. After the consultation he left the room and the anesthesiologist came in a couple of minutes later, hooked the IV and led me to the operating room. While laying down on the table I was given a oxygen mask and after what seemed to be a couple of milliseconds, I was out. The next thing I knew was waking up in the recovery room with someone asking me if I was nauseous. At the time I had no idea what was going on.. I forgot I was in Miami.. I didn't even realize I had boobs! I was put onto a wheelchair and pushed to the exit where my boyfriend was waiting. From there they helped me into the car. To be honest I felt fine, I never had surgery before but I felt alright. I navigated my boyfriend back to our hotel and once there I went straight to bed. Throughout that entire night I would wake up every few hours and attempt to read/watch tv and fail miserably. The pain was minimum, I just felt extremely sleepy. Pain level 2? That night was also the first time I saw my new additions and boy were they huge and rock-like. This of course was to be expected and I was wayyyyy too sleepy to really focus too much.

Dr. Freiman was very informative and sweet and I must say he has really soft hands! He explained to me about the process and answered all my questions. I was very comfortable and felt that he was the doctor for me after doing a lot of research on his work.
