1. What are the doctors qualifications? Is he Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery?2. Ask why are prices less expensive ?
3. What are the potential risks and complications?
4. Does he have Malpractice insurance?
5. Will the doctor be available if you have complications ?
6. Where/When/What time will the surgery take place?
7. If something goes wrong and you need to be admitted to a hospital will they HELP YOU?
8. Does the Doctor check up on his patients after surgery ??Surgery was scheduled for April 16, 2015 a few days before I received a phone call from the office saying that my surgery was rescheduled to 4/15/2015 of course, I upset due to the fact that I was flying on the 4/15. On the 15 of April, I waited about 3 hours before I met Dr. Omulepu he was pleasant but was rushing around.
Week 1- First week was unpleasant, the pain was horrible !!
Week 2- After six days in Miami I flew back home.... lots of pain
Week 3- Headaches and some pain - Called Omulepu to ask about about the headaches, front desk said it was part of the healing process.
Week 4- Headaches continue for a whole week - Again I called the office to speak with Omulepu - He was not available and I was told he would get back to me - No return calls
Week 5- Constant headaches, nausea, and fatigue- I developed lumps on my left cheek
HELLO INFECTION - Again I called the office and Omulepu was not available...After 3 weeks of calling he finally called me back on 5/19/2015 @ 10:00pm LITTLE TO LATE, I had an infection already so he called in for some antibiotics. On Friday I texted Omulepu that the pain was horrible and I would be visiting the emergency room soon. NO TEXT BACK

I don't know Ortega, but if it's in the same office I would think twice. Make sure he has malpractice insurance... everyone makes mistakes. I don't trust anyone from that office

I did all of my homework on Dr. Ortega and he definitely has all of his credentials in order and not on bbl complaint. The other doctor well he's a different story all together.

I know the state of Florida doesn't require doctors but most board certified plastic surgeons have malpractice insurance. Having insurance just shows what kind of doctor he/she is ...Doctors are humans and they can make mistakes.

I spoke with Maggie wednesday and no one ever called me back . I'm going Monday to see a local ps that did my breast aug. And see what he thinks . Spectrum gives no after care so don't believe a word they say about that

He said it's just a hard blob of fat and to massage and put warm compress on it . So I'm ok :) thanks for asking

Can I ask you ladies how long was it before you bathed how long were you told by the dr to wear the garment before removing it too bath I had a trap in 2013 my Dr expressed how important it was to bath regardless of the pain I've seen stories were some girls had taken the garment off for days I'm just trying to get a clear understanding of what is going on I was gonna use this dr but is afraid and my husband would not allow me to go through with it but I am in the medical field and I know you cannot go that many days without using anti bacterial soap some of these girls staph infection are starting days if not months after leaving the facility so I'm wondering who's really at fault I don't want you to think I am pointing fingers at you Lady but if you are waiting longer than 2 days to bathe than you are questionable

I had my surgery on Wednesday and the "doctor" told me to wait until I saw him on Friday. @ajb78
- I also work for two medical doctors here in Austin, Texas which were monitoring my health(as a favor) ... Once I explained how I was feeling they asked me to call my doctor in Miami ... After three weeks of calling him with no respond he decided to call me on May 19 at 10 pm. Calls in antibiotics (way to LATE!) omulepu knew I worked for two doctors and tells me to give them his personal cell phone.- He wouldn't asnwer his phone anyways !
Both my doctors advised to visit the ER ...I text him on Friday saying I was not feeling well and I was going into the ER room ... I thought he would call or text me back, WRONG! If ANYONE WANTS TO SEE THESE TEXT PLEASA EMAIL ME ! I followed his directions BUT the fact of the matter is that it took him THREE WEEKS to call me back! What kind of doctor does that ? I REGRET this whole ordeal.... I've been in pain for weeks but TODAY it hit me. I cannot believe this is happening to me :/ I don't understand why anyone would be so careless

I had my surgery on a Saturday. The dr told me not to remove my garment or shower until Monday when I would go to the office and he wouldn't be there. He said "you will probably see someone who does not speak English. Make sure they just look at you and put everything back on the way they found it" I was to go back to see him on Tuesday and he would tell me at that point if I could take off my garment or shower. So being I had my surgery Saturday morning that was 3 days he wanted me to go without even taking the garment off.

Not bathing would not give lumps in the butt but if could affect infection in the surgical sites

wow. this is crazy. I'm so scared even though he isn't my doctor but,i will be having surgery at spectrum too. Now this has me very scared.

Please, please think twice... If the doctor does not have malpractice insurance DO NOT SO IT ... There's a reason why prices are lower there

Day 9 in the hospital and the white blood count is going down. Once they know I'm stable that's when I'll get released....I regret going to Miami :/

WOWWW...I HATE THAT HAPPENED TO U AND I HOPE U FEEL BETTA....THAT EQUIPMENT IS NOT BEING STERALIZED...I HAD MONEY ON HIM AND GOT IT BACK BECUZ THE LADY LIZ KEPT GIVING ME A DIFFERENT PRICE FROM THE GIRLS N MY GROUP....I CUSSED OUT MANAGERS AND ALL AND TOLD THEM TO GIVE ME MY $300 BACK...MY MONEY WAS ON MY CARD AT DAY 3....DONT PLAY WITME....THAT WAS MY SIGN...I WANTED HASAN ANYWAY, AND THAT WAS MY SIGN TO FOLLOW MY FIRST MIND...WAT PART OF TEXAS BECUZ I LIVE IN TEXAS I CUD [RS bleep] AND VISIT U JUST AS UR BBL SIS FOR SUPPORT IF U WANT ME TO....I WILL KEEP U N MY PRAYERS...

You can report him to the Florida Department of of Health (http://www.floridahealth.gov/licensing-and-regulation/enforcement/index.html) I already have and have gotten a complaint number. This is not normal for so many women to need blood transfusions and have infections of this caliber! This is outrageous! Speedy recovery doll ... I know what you're going through because I'm still going through hell.

Omg I called Friday made a asap appointment because of up coming events they asked for 500 hundred dollers I gave it to them as a deposit they called today demanding at least half when I have not received an order for my labs or information regarding the recovery house but why only 1 business working day do you demand the rest of my money I happen to receive this email containing the complaints I am so glad I didn't book my flight I am horrified now I feel the reason they are requesting my money is because they felt I would get a whim of this ingo and if they have more than half my money I would proceed god is good thank you ladies and the best of luck on your recovery God is able

I'm almost paid off. I'm planning on talking to my doctor before my surgery about all of this craziness. I pray you heal and recover fast! I can't imagine what you girls have been going through. So sorry.
