Late update!
Sorry ladies for not updating until now.. the first 5 days of my surgery were really tough for me. When I got out of surgery my garment was really really tight on me but I didn't pay much attention to it until two days after when I took a shower I looked at the size and it was a size 32 when I usually wear a size 36 bra size!! My cousin also did the surgery with me at the same time and she had a size 36 and she's smaller than me! I was very upset because I feel that that made my recovery a harder and vanity had me pay for another garment after they had given me the wrong size and probably gave me a 32 because they didn't have my right size in stock. After started wearing a 36 garment I started feeling better overall. Like I've said before Dr. Hasan did a great job but the staff there is just horrible! They will get loud with you and argue with you just overall very unprofessional. Throughout the first week I felt nauseous, could barely eat, missed two of my massages because I couldn't get out of bed, felt like I was going to faint and had fatigue. I was constipated to the max and wasn't able to go to the bathroom for a week after surgery I took stool softeners I was told by vanity not to take any laxatives but I took them anyways because I felt like I needed to go but couldn't. Now I'm going to the bathroom regularly. Vanity gives you Tylenol with Codeine for the pain and I was taking that regularly but at the same time that's what makes you constipated so I stopped taking them after the first week. The plane ride back wasn't bad I had to slightly sit down on a Bobby pillow for takeoff and landing. I was lucky and had the whole row to lay down on and slept for the majority of the time and I walked around and stood in the back by the bathrooms I also kneeled on Macy everyone was looking at me like I was crazy lol. I stayed in Miami for a week and I thought that was The right amount of days to stay there. When I got home it really really good just to be home I started getting massages out here and they really seem to help with the swelling. I've pretty much been home all the time I get tired easily so I don't really go out unless I need to. I wear my garment still but it's fitting looser and looser so I'll probably start wearing a smaller one after three weeks postop. I don't take anymore pain meds I'm still using my Arnica gel which works magic! I would recommend that anyone who is having this procedure get the arnica gel for pain and bruising it really works. I don't really have any more pain no just a lot of stiffness on my back and sides which doesn't let me sleep through the whole night. The discomfort only last about an hour after I wake up and then throughout the day I'll usually be okay. I plan on getting at least five more massages which would be a total 10 because I really want my sides and front to be smooth and have no lumps. My butt has dropped about an inch over the last two weeks and I really hope it stays the way it is now because I wouldn't want to any smaller I also got a little bit of hips done. Hasan does do hips ladies! Well that has been my journey so far and if any of you guys have questions just let me know and I'll be happy to answer sorry again for the late update

What were you eating your first week? I was instructed to only eat protein veggies and fruits not carbs. But I need some type of carbs! Some brown rice wheat bread something! Lol

Well I had my mom with me so she cooked up some meals like soup, chicken with brown rice. I did also have wheat bread, fruits, Hard boiled eggs, I didn't stay away from carbs .. I wasn't told that. You should definitely eat somewhat healthy to speed up your recovery because the first few days I wasn't eating good and that was causing me to feel even worse

You're in good hands..he's great! Well we argued about giving me a size 32 garment and then they made me wait 2hours for my post op appt after I had already set an appt while I was in pain smh.

Where did you buy your arnica gel? Did you do your lab work at vanity ? When did you have you preop consult with Hasan? I m scheduled for Friday and I fly in Thursday and they told me Hasan doesn't use drains , which is fine, what sort of massage are you getting post ... Did u use a board?

I bought the gel at Walgreens.. No I did my lab work before getting to Miami. I got there late the day before surgery so I had my consult the day of. I'm doing the lymphatic massages. I've done 5 so far and plan on doing a few more to get the best results and recover faster. I use the foams that vanity sold me on and off

Wow you look so great. He did a wonderful job. Its ashamed the staff is that nasty. Chick like me would've slapped someone thats what made me change my facility all together. It sucks Dr. Hasan is there. From reading the reviews he is an amazing doctor but the staff make him look bad. Along with Dr. Fisher as well. Sorry you had to experience that unprofessional ism.
