Amazing Doctor. I'm small and he just made me perfect. I didn't have much fat to work with but he found it and moved it to all the right spots. I'm only 5 days PO and body still changing every day but I couldn't be happier.

13 days until SX I need help!

I'm trying to purchase my garment and I have no idea what size to get it because everybody says they come way too small so should I wait and purchase my stage two while in Miami or should I try to order online now and take the risk of it not fitting

Such a hard question to answer. i ordered mine already from Leonisa. I ordered according to my current measurements and it fits like a tight second skin! No way will I be able to squeeze into it with swelling. So I'm returning it and getting the next size up. From what I've read, you need two garments, one that's bigger and but compresses well for the first couple of weeks, and as the swelling subsides, a 2nd garment that is smaller because you'll be smaller, and less constricting. Some docs actually say spanx are good 2nd stage cause they hug without such powerful compression. But the opinions are all over the place. Im trying to look at what RSers who've got the best results 3 months out did in their healing process.
Hello, I'm not purchasing the stage one garment in advance for fear it may be the wrong size. I was advised by Lena, Dr. Alvarez's office manager, that I could purchase it from them on the day of my pre op appointment to make sure I get the correct size. I booked my sx through Dr. Alvarez's private office. As far as the stage 2, definitely will purchase that later depending on my measurements at that time. If you booked your sx through Dr. Alvarez's private office, just call Lena and she'll explain your option for purchasing your garment there. Or if you booked through Spectrum, I'd call there and inquire on purchasing there at your pre op appointment. Hope this helps.
