Just received clearance for my surgery at Spectrum. I'm packed up & ready to roll out! Here is my list..I stuck with the basics
-Chux
-Arnica gel
-Booty buddy
-feminine wipes
-Assured anti-bacterial wipes w/vitamin E & aloe(Only $1 from dollar tree)
-Antibacterial soap

What exactly do they test you for at spectrum?

They do a CBC will be able to tell if you have any type infection,HCG(blood preg. Test), they check your sugar and urine. Hemo..iron levels. I think that's it..hope I didn't miss anything

Thank you for the info.. Also where did you purchase your faja? I'm searching online but I need to make sure I get the correct items...I wish you luck with surgery but I'm sure you'll come out with the results you want

Good luck! You already in Miami?I just got the gold dial antibacterial soap. It still says that it's a "deodorant" soap. But I guess it's still considered to be unscented

No im in Fort Lauderdale at my dad's house...whats funny is i got the white dial soap last night..I plan on staying at Keylas recovery home for 4 days then back to dad's..i didnt buy a bunch of supplies..still gotta order the booty buddy

Yes. I think it is too soft too. Huni fold that bad boy up some kinda way so it lifts your butt up better until you get your booty buddy.

Hi I have ? I'm having surgery with dr Ortega on the 19th do they check ur iron again on the day of surgery, meaning stick ur finger to see if ur iron drop ?

Hi! No they don't check iron again or do any type of finger stick. All they will do is check your urine, preg. test. Is your iron low?

Yea at 11.3, I think it should be at 11.5 right? I'm taking iron pills, im trying to see what else I can take to raise it up by Friday

Yea I believe so.You should be good tho.I was borderline like that. If your taking the iron pills, make sure you make meals all week rich in iron. Steak, spinach,liver,etc. that should push you over or at least right at it by Friday.

Yes, lol I just ate Spanish and steak I will be eating that for next 6 days n continue taking my iron pill and prenatal pill.

Can you see any difference?! I dam sure can. I feel much better as well. Had to switch up those eating habits and will maintain that after BBL. This isn't all for nothing. I got goals!

No exercise, no diet pills or any of that. I haven't broke a sweat at all. It's has been strictly watching what I eat. Eliminate as much sugar, drink a lot of water, eat more whole grains, vegetables and lean meats and fruits. Try not to skip meals, I still eat quite a bit a day. It's just healthier options & smaller portions. As soon as I start feeling full, I stop eating. It's hard to do, because I love food, but I throw in the towel once I start feeling like my stomach is about to start poking out,lol.
Also get you a waist trainer. That will help. If you wear it when you eat, of course you won't eat as much. As soon as you start feeling uncomfortable, stop eating. It kinda helps with portion control too.
