Booking Process: I booked my appointment in November of 2015 with a surgery date of May 2017. During the waiting process, Dr.Miami's coordinators kept in contact with me on a consistent basis. All of the coordinators were really nice and helpful throughout the entire process. I've read many reviews stating that the staff was unprofessional or rude, but everyone was super nice to me. I believe their attitude towards you, is based off your attitude.
Cost: I $7,795 + $1,200 (Inner Thighs).
Surgery: I was the first surgery of the day. I was at the office for approximately one hour before the actual surgery. I met with the doctor and medical team; I expressed my desire look to Dr.Miami and I was on the table within 30 minutes. The procedure took approximately 2 hours then I was in the recovery room for about 1.5 hours.
Recovery: The first week was the most painful experience that I have ever gone through my entire life. I had two tubes inserted in my stomach and back to drain the blood which made sleeping super painful. The tubes were removed at my 7 day follow up. I didn't bruise nearly as bad as other patients, I would rate my bruising at about a 4. It is nearly 3 weeks post-op and I am still in pain from the liposuction, my abdomen and back still feel hard, but it is nowhere near as bad as the first two weeks. I stayed at the Elite Nursing Recovery house for 3 nights which was great, especially since there was only one other girl there during my stay which allowed me to have my own room.
Results: I used to be shaped as a square, but I have a flat stomach and back (I can actually see my feet without bending over), my hips are a nice size. Now, the butt is nice and full, but I do wish I had more projection. The Doctor removed 3 liters of fat and re-injected 2 liters into my hips and butt, he said he inserted as much fat as possible which I believe him because the fat was starting to come back out based off the snapchat. Despite lacking projection, I do look a lot better than before as I feel more confident in shorts, bikinis, and dresses.
I also had my inner thighs done, which I honestly can't tell the difference which might be the main negative of the entire surgery (after the projection issue). I feel like I could have done exercises to help with the inner thighs as opposed to paying an additional $1,2000.
Overall, I am happy that I went through with the procedure despite all of the pain the first two weeks in which I slept like a newborn baby.
