Almost 4 months post op

So far I love my new ass. I can actually say I have an ass now. Do I want more?? Yes! Lol my husband says it's a disease.... once you have 1 procedure you want more... which yes I want more ass and a tummy tuck! Ahhhh, but that's for a later date. Right now I'm completely happy with my results. I'm still healing and I know this because if my husband GRABS any of the lipo'd areas it hurts like a burning sensation. Like my skin and tissue haven't fully adhered or something. It's a weird feeling. I mostly feel that in my back and abdomen. So I'm still wearing my faja because when I go without wearing it for a full day I feel weird or like my skin starts hurting. Also another weird sensation I can't fully describe. My scars are still dark :( I'm gonna start looking into buying something to lighten them. Otherwise my ass is here to stay and hopefully will grow lol

Some of the things people don't talk about after surgery...

I didn't want to post anymore cuz well, I fucked up. But I figured I'd give you something to think about , kind of like a cautionary tale.
So as most of you know your plastic surgeon will tell you to stop your birth control 30 days prior to surgery. I was on the pill for 10 yrs faithfully and stopped for the surgery. My pcp told me I could resume my both control once I started walking/being more mobile because of the risk of blood clots. So I started my new pack 12 days p.o and the delay was mainly because I just could never make it to the pharmacy to pick it up. I kept procrastinating. Of course I had sex about 9 days p.o and we were using the whole pull out method. Yea... basically Russian roulette. At this point my ovulation was a week away according to my calendar so i thought I was safe. Come to find out 6 wks p.o that my period was a few days late... I didn't think anything of it, but I work in a ob/gyne office and took a test anyway for [RS bleep] & giggles and bammmm I was pregnant. I felt like a teenager again with that mentality of it won't happen to me and yet 1 time is all it took.
I also never even gave it much thought that for a whole month 3x a day I was taking antibiotics/the prophylaxis my surgeon gave me post op. Antibiotics also lessens the effects of birth control. I'm not making excuses, I messed up. But ladies please have your birth control already filled and ready to go..
I don't know What the surgeons do or ask the ladies with iud's and nexplanons inserted to do prior to surgery...? Maybe those are safer bets if you can leave them in for the surgery and don't have to worry about it afterwards. I will continue to post about my experiences post bbl, but this isn't something I wanna talk about in anymore detail than I've already put out here. I just want you ladies to love your results and take all precautions.

Here's that pic

Had my surgery 4/6/17 w/ Dr. Ortega. My experience with my coordinator Lizbeth was ok, as my date approached she responded promptly to my emails. I had a lot of communication from the office in general regarding pre-op and what to expect as my date approached. Once in Miami everyone in the office was super nice. I never waited long for my massages or post op visits. Dr. Ortega has a real great bedside manner making me feel at ease and keeping my expectations real. Unfortunately I wasn't able to see him for any of my post op visits. He wasn't in the office for my 4 day p.o visit. But other than that his office called to follow up with me 1 week p.o. Which was nice. Yazna the masseuse is awesome. She helped me drain so much and it wasn't painful at all! I have my experience from my RH masseuse to compare it to so I know the difference! (My RH MASSEUSE WAS real heavy handed and she hardly ever got much fluid to drain;I'd feel like fainting from the pain) yazna is the best! I wish I had more than 2 sessions with her! The only thing I wish I had was post op instructions for home printed out... and I'm talking more along the lines of when we can stop wearing our fajas, when it's safe to excercise, what to expect as our tissue regenerates or nerves reconnect idk something along those lines. I did have instructions as far as meds and pain tho. Overall Ian happy with my results!! I kept a realistic outlook on this. I didn't expect to go in 5'1" 165lbs and come out looking like Kylie Jenner lol although a girl can dream right... I'm currently 3 wks p.o and I feel a little bit of volume loss because my scrub pants fit me loose today :/ but I don't wanna measure myself because then it becomes real.. lol
