Keyla Recovery. Miami, FL

I written this post to ensure that all ladies looking for recovery centers understand the difference between a Recovery Home (inside a person house)and Recovery Center (private center for recovery only). I’ve stay at both and was totally unaware of the problems that come with staying in a Recovery home.
My Journey at Keylas recovery house was a Disaster. Ladies I cannot stress how important to have someone take care of you in a comfortable environment makes healing much easier and recovery much better. After surgery you should be resting, Having to leave your recovery home because of unsafe environment a day after surgery can really be problematic to your healing process and can cause problems which could have been avoided, which leaves me to write this review I had to leave Keyla Recovery House the next morning after my surgery on 2-7-19 Keylas is located at 3227 SW 26th St, Miami, FL 33133 my breast Augmentation surgery was on 2-6-19 I was expecting to stay at Keyla Recovery house from 2-5-19/2-11-19.
Let me start by saying I didn’t fully read the website but was taken in by the fancy look of the website.
Upon arrival to my doctor office which is very strict about having surgery without a caretaker or a person with you especially coming from out of town. They ask me the question who will be here with you for the surgery? I was proud to say and stated “I’m staying at Keyla’s recovery house” more so my Doctor and Nurse looked up the fancy looking website after the nurse read everything she then told me it’s a recovery house in someone home and not a center it’s family based and be ready to meet two dogs . My mouth immediately drop because I never fully read the website I did look at pictures and read a few reviews and it was so last minute, Due to the fact a family member canceled the day before I was scheduled to leave. I reread the website and was surprised she did mention recovery house and not a center and family based but one thing she didn’t mention was that her HUSBANDS also lives in the recovery house and is part of the recovery team and he is the driver. Upon arriving to this house it’s very very small and it’s a family home her mother, kids,Husband and Dogs was all there to greet me not to mention a friend of hers who had a bed across from me and she wasn’t even recovering from surgery she was just there needed a place to stay. The living room which I stayed in has three beds 2small room dividers that was place to divide the beds from the kitchen, bathroom and laundry closet, one bathroom, a room in the back which had a lady who had a tummy tuck the day before, she has to walk from her room pass my bed to get to the bathroom so I would have to move my phone charger and stuff out the way. From the start Keyla act as if me having a breast reduction /augmentation surgery wasn’t as bad as the other women? one who had liposuction and one I mention before who had a tummy tuck ! Fast forward to The next day when I had surgery I was dropped of by the husband and I was picked up by Keyla and her husband when I made it back to the so called recovery house it was around 4:00 pm I couldn’t REST at all there was just to much noise every time I dosed off I would wake up from a bang, keyla and her family talking in the kitchen and the washer and dryer going non stop not even 10 feet away.
I couldn’t rest peacefully It was just to much noise dogs running around in this small sardined can apartment claiming to be a recovery house . Kelya states at Keylas Recovery House we are dedicated to helping you achieve optimal physical healing and peace of mind this is so not true so don’t waste your money or time.
I was there for Two night and end up leaving the day after my surgery the day of my surgery I had to do for myself Kelya brought me soup but I had to feed my self I did see her helping the other girl eat ONCE the one who had liposuction. No one help me to the washroom no one helped me with anything I was treated as if my surgery was no big deal yet I had be given the same instructions as if I had liposuction or a tummy tuck from my doctor.
Finally around 9-10pm the house calm down and was quiet. I had been sleeping on and off around 5:00am my sister called and I answered the phone within 2 minutes on my call . I was told verbally by Keyla and a text to my phone that I will have to Step outside to talk on the phone. Because the other girls are sleeping. The only other girl which had surgery was woke next to me, the other lady who had surgery was in a small room with the door close which leaves the only person sleep was Keylas friend in the bed across from me she is the friend that’s rented a bed in the recovery house and didn’t have any surgery. I was told and text to go outside or in the bathroom to finish my call at 4:50 am I was so upset I had to hold back the tears from crying I’m in another state in a neighborhood where people speak a different language and I was told to leave my resting area which I paid for after having an invasive breast augmentation surgery to go outside to talk on my phone at 4:50 am how rude. I’m written this review to let other women in my situation know, I opt out for a cheaper stay and this is wat happened to me ! I have stayed in real recovery house where I had my own room, bathroom,refrigerator etc. I had my own private space to talk on the phone whenever I liked. I had a real caregiver who feed me walked me to the bathroom and help me the first 24hrs after my surgery that’s the same expectation I had for Keylas recovery house but that not what I got Not there at Keyla Recovery house. Ladies Don’t be fooled by these fancy website to end up in a death trap small sardined can apartment claiming to BE a recovery house Kelya told me to go out side and use my phone because she was sleeping on the couch and she felt like I was to loud. She never took in consideration that I was on the phone with my sister she was willing to make me stand outside to talk on the phone at 4:50 am like I didn’t just have surgery she also told me I can leave which I did leave that evening around 2pm
Funny thing is I never once said anything to her or her husband,mother, not homeless friend when they were being very loud and careless of me and the other two women who just had surgery ! From 4-10 pm the day of my surgeryKeyla and her family was inconsiderate and very rude Keyla Recovery house
should have been called The Loud house recovery or Recovery from the Hood I don’t recommended anyone staying there after any type of surgery. The house is just to small and it’s to many people live there you will not be able to rest peacefully or comfortable. I would not recommend this for a place of recovery.

Lol BYE FELICIA I stayed at Keylas and I to had gotten a Breast Augmentation and personally that surgery is not as extreme ass a BBL so cut out the cry baby act. The girls I was staying with was were worried about me but I was more so worried about them bcuz they were in 10 times more pain. Secondly u can feed yourself soup..cut it out..you got a breast augment not open Heart surgery lol. Next time read before u pay for something. Everything your complaining about you would've known if you wouldve read! It clearly says FAMILY HOME. Your on the phone at 4:50am in am in an open room which you can also see that on the site and you mad that shes saying something about you being on the phone and your comparing that to them being on the phone at 4pm? Mam have a good day. I'll be staying at Keylas again and I dont mind plus I read!!!

Wow, I pray that everything goes well for the other house member that was sent to the hospital. She will be in my prayers. I hope you other ladies have a safe recovery and successful healing!
