So today I put down a deposit and I'm so excited! I've been wanting to do this for a very long time and was either held back due to finances or the inability to take off so much time for recovery... As well as being straight Chicken [RS bleep]! (I'm still scared y'all!). But after years of research I've decided to go with Dr. Fisher at Vanity Cosmetics. My pt coordinator is Jessi (Yesenia) she's been really pleasant thus far and I'm hoping that won't change now that I've made a deposit, as I keep hearing it does. Anywho, I'm hoping to get this done in late February or early March.
Because I have found the post of so many of you ladies very helpful I'm hoping that I can pay it forward and document my journey in the hopes that it helps someone else.

I know I'm about 6 months early but I've been looking into recovery homes. I've also started ordering supplies, but I'll talk about that later! Anywho, Im really interested in New Body Recovery Home (Moni gets such lovely review), but I also found another place called Bella Donna Luxury Recovery Villa. They both offer a 7 night stay for $1400, with 3 meals daily, 24 hour care, and 5 lymph massages! Bella Donna also offers Daily maid and Laundry services! I think the price is right for both but now it comes down to which of the two provides the best care...
Any suggestions ladies??? I won't have anyone available to help take care of me so a great recovery home is a must!

Hello & Congrats Future Doll!!! I also am looking at both these recov facilities. The only negatives Ive heard about Moni's is that there are 2 bedrooms upstairs & only 1 bath to share (if she has 3 ladies booked at same time). The downstairs room has own bath. I haven't read where this setup was ever a problem in any reviews. I haven't read any negatives about BellaDonna but also not many reviews at all about them. I requested info on their website but haven't heard back. Also, their website, if its the one with the loud music, is not user friendly. Please post anymore you find out & also which Recov Hse you end up choosing. Blessings!!!

I am booked to stay with Moni for my recovery. I will make sure I post a detailed review on her services. So far she's been very helpful and such a doll.

Great, Thanks! I spoke to her about booking my stay and she said I had to wait until about two months prior to my procedure... She seemed really sweet over the phone!

Ok so I can only tell my experience with belladonna & my beliefs. So long story short I was intrested in staying @ BD I contacted Camille, she was great, answered all my questions, offered to skype so I could ask questions & she could get my medical history, I asked for more pictures, the tone in her voice changed as she laughed at me & said I have lots of pics on the website. OK (The Payment Process) I said ok send me a invoice, ok no problem there is a 25% deposit to secure your spot boom ok no problem. Oh & your payment must be made in FULL *14days BEFORE YOU ARRIVE. I said well Camille, I'm sorry but Im not gonna just wire you $1400 and I don't even know where you live, what you look like. Your not a actual business where I can google your company's name & your address and everything pops up (ex. Such as a hotel) I said we'll I will give you your $300 deposit but can I pay you in full upon arrival? As soon as you pick me up from the airport, I have no problem with that. Camille says well I don't know how to proceed from here. Now in my mind im thinking your just gonna pass up $1400 just because I can't pay you 2Weeks before my stay?!! & also my friend was going to stay there too so it actually would have been about a $3000 stay. Camille told me she could not proceed from here because that was the rules & she can't do anything about it because she is not the owner. Oh & also they have 2 numbers they tell you to call one number works & you get Camille & the other number *says this number has not been set up to receive calls.* & also Everytime Camille calls me she calls private. It says no caller ID Everytime she called. & I mean I even offered Half, Like I can give you half now & half when I arrive. She still said No! Now you make your own decision im just gonna tell you mines, & what I think. The police will look at me crazy like so why did you wire a stranger that much money again? Lmao

is there a way I can just pay for the nurse and food and not have to stay at their home? does anyone know someone that does this?

I've heard from Bella Donna, I want to stay there. I google them and they do pop up. I don't read very many reviews but it's the best thing I've read. I'm not down for staying at someone's house while they cook me food I've never eaten before. Nothing against Cuban food, but my stomach can't take just any food, especially since I've had my gallbladder taken out. Bella Donna got with me right away. I was so far from my surgery date (2/17/16) to book anything. I don't see the problem with paying full. Vanity wants me to pay I full 2 week prior also. So business is business. Bella Donna also sent me an email about them having an open house to visit the facility. If u know anyone in Miami, ask them to stop by to scout it! Wish I could.

Hey Booties... (Oops, I meant Beauties????),
So my surgery won't be for almost another 7 months. At this point I've just been getting my supplies together, (once I've ordered and received everything I will post it) and I've been working on losing some of this weight! I'm currently 235 and 5'5". I want to get down to about 180lbs before surgery. I want to wake up SNATCHED! I don't want to have to lose more than 15lbs after my surgery to have my dream body!
So starting Monday I will begin the 21 day fix program by Autumn Calabrese. I lost 20lbs the first time I did it and I've been able to keep the weight off! So Im going to give-it-a-go again! It's an awesome program and the workouts are 30 minutes but killer! I'll keep you ladies posted... And I'll put up before pics!
