Heard a lot about the garment issue not being right! - can you give me the exact names of the two garments you will need and where to buy them!
Heard a lot about weakness and nausea! Everyone talks about nausea. Doesn't the Dr give you MEDS for this. Or is this only when u don't eat right and take a lot of MEDS?
Heard a lot about sleep on your stomach! I have a really bad neck, so sleeping on my stomach is going to be a bad situation for me! Are there any sleeping tricks for this IE: special pillows etc. Please advise the new kid on the block!!!
These are my three top issues... What do you veterans of BBL suggest for these issues!!!

Mendieta does not provide garments, but you may buy one from his office (they order it for you) it is a Veronique design and cost $250.00 a piece.

Veronique Model No: BA853 compression garment cost $239.90 on www.makemeheal.com but if you buy it in Mendieta's office it's $250.00. That is ONLY brand they were using 4 years ago when I had my first BBL. At least they did not give me another option . I end up buying 2 garments from him. They also do not tell you need smaller one stage2 garment later during your healing process.

Girl that's crazy as hell 250. My doc uses the best garment which is antimicrobial and antibacterial and it doesnt cost 250. Its free along with your stage 2 garment. That's crazy.

Now I know and agree with you that it is crazy. The first time I had my BBL I did not do too much research, I drove to Mendieta office for consult and done what they told me to do,lol:)I am going to DR for my 2nd round BBL to fix all asymmetry and poorly done first BBL and I got my faja for 150 the top quality for stage 2,as stage one I am getting for free from my dra.

You are right I don't even understand the different stages of garments. Mine and yes I also paid that much for both of mine are called Medena. They are microbial and look to be well made...but they ended up putting me in one that had legs past my knees when I didn't need one that long. I ended up cutting about 6 inches off of the bottom...hasn't frayed so far. But the other one I bought I hate hate hate. It is one that has those hooks like the back of a bra and goes all of the way up. It causes marks on my abs and now I am wearing a foam piece. NewImprovedMe please tell me about the stages and what you recommend. So confused!!!

Buy an ab board and put in between your garment to stop the marks. Ann michell has the best one. Its called a table it gets you real flat.

You put it inside your garment small side down. Its an Ab board. Put your garment on then when you are 1/2 way hooked, put the board in. Put it small side downward toward pubic area, it will come above your belly button, continue to hook an eye upward until its hooked all the way up.

sorry I did not see your post .. I an 4 almost 5 weeks post my 2nd BBL and wear vest waist cincher from Salome, do not remember the number but they make only 2: one is with thinner shoulder straps and another one is with high back and thick shoulder straps - that is the one I am wearing. I and very happy cause it compresses my torso the way I wanted: full back, and full stomach . My butt is comfortable and free. LOL. If you buying Salome garment or vest etc you must go 2 size up from what is your currant size is, Salome runs extremely small.

hey girlfriend , you must sleep for 2 months laying on your stomach. The day of your surgery they put on faja on you and first night you sleep on your sides ( you must switch sides during the night)then next day you must visit the office. they will tell you you can take shower same day. Honey do not do it that soon or at least let somebody help you in shower, you will be weak and light headed almost close to faint . you may use wash cloth to clean your body instead. Wait a couple of day to get stronger. It is not a joke, the recovery process is very tough .When is your surgery?Did you pay deposit?

I totally agree. Don't take a shower for a couple of days. The weird thing is that I didn't stink too much since I was never moving around and spent so much time in bed. Just use baby wipes or tucks wipes. Who cares about smelling good anyway when you feel like [RS bleep] and your all swollen? I didn't. I wore the same dress the whole time I was there and never wore makeup.

ask him about massages cause he will not mention it, but you must start series of massages 4th day ops op. I had not had any and end up with lumpy stomach

i asked about them a couple of times but never really got an answer either. they were going to do one the day I had my tubes pulled but that was the day before I left. I never had the massages done when i do lower ab lipo years ago and didn't have lumps. There are a lot of docs that don't do them. But now that I am back home I am going to check them out.

Hey girl! Okay just an fyi and I just learned this der...if you get nauseated after gen anesthesia then tell the nurse anesthtis this. I told him (he was very cute by the way) that I get nauseated and throw up after general. I have no idea what he did but I had NO NAUSEA. All of the women stressed time and time and time again to make sure you have protein shakes or bars after your surgery. Because the next day many women don't and they faint. I didn't faint. I had some yummy protein shakes from Fresh Market which is by the marina and not those crappy old people protein shakes (errr whats the name?) and I had organic chicken broth with oyster crackers (just small soda crackers) and smart water to drink. Make sure to have some eggs for breakfast the next day when you go in for your followup and whatever else you can handle eating.
