So during my consultation I told Ghuranhi how I wanted my chin and innner thighs done. I wanted to walk out there looking like a star.. Dr Ghuranhi told me that I had too much fat on my waist and would either have to do a round two cause he's only allowed to remove 4l of fat or lose it by exercising. Like I said Dr Ghuranhi is blunt, he is not trying to sell you on dreams or take your money needlessly. He's worth every penny and I could tell that just from taking off my garment the first time.

I had my surgery!

So I did everything last minute in case my surgery got canceled by Spectrum but I have to say everything went smoothly. Spectrum had issues with getting my medical clearance from my primary doctor and one week before surgery I was still trying to get it to them but my surgery went on as planned. I arrived in Miami on Tuesday and stayed at a hotel I booked close to Spectrum. I have to say that I got very lucky with the nurses I booked. Last minute I got unto Kenia who was absolutely fabulous and caring. I booked Kenia to pick me up after surgery and take care of me for eight hours to make sure I was ok. Kenia has a great personality and is willing to see that you are comfortable.
My surgery with Dr Ghuranhi went great.. Dr Ghuranhi is very blunt with you but very caring as well. He told me that I had internal fat around my organs and what would be removed is what I was able to pinch but I would have to do my part to diet and exercise as well. Something you don't want to hear when you are paying for lipo.. but honestly I'm so pleased with my results! I would walk around looking like I was at least three months pregnant. I took off my garment and this is the first time my stomach looks flat and its still swollen. I had lipo before and this is nothing compared to that.. for the first time I saw results that made me feel like I could finally wear a bikini. As u can see in my before pics I always walked around holding my stomach in. Even when I lose weight I still had a bloated stomach.
I honestly don't remember anything once I got into the surgery room except praying that I made it back ok. As we all know surgery is a gamble and here I am in Miami by myself. I didn't tell my mom cause I didn't want to freak her out. She was so freaked out when I had lipo and I heard all the stories about why was I doing it. Until down to my grandmother was calling me giving me advice to lose weight. I got anti anxiety medication from the anaesthesiologist and was waiting for everything to start. I don't remember going out..Or waking up. I remember being wheeled out by the nurse and making it back to my room. I'm four days post op. Kenia was unavailable to take care of me and hooked me up with another nurse called Merrin. Honestly ladies I got so blessed with who I met. After care is important as well. Merrin took me to my post op appts and helped me laundry my clothes. She has a lovely personality and would check in with me to make sure I'm ok. Here are some pics of my results so far.

Thanks for posting it's sound alike your really happy which is always a relief to hear! I'm going for surgery with doctor Alvarez on the 12th June I finally want to feel confident in the summer too. But I'm from London and my primary dctr is being so unsupportive of this cosmetic procedure commenting on how expensive it must be. I have had no negative medical history but he still doesn't want to provide with a medical clearance letter stating I would have to go private for it. What does thY even mean? Lol I don't see what difference it makes but anyway I guess my question is u say you were having trouble but did you have to get your medical clearance in the end or did they just rely on your blood results? Or do u think I could just print off my medical records? I appreciate ur feedback and I hope ur still loving ur New confidence! Saf

For some reason my primary doctor office would fax my medical clearance and results to Spectrum and spectrum would not receive it. This went on for days, at least a week and Spectrum has a policy that your results must be in two weeks before surgery or it can get cancelled. Finally I asked my doctor office to mail it to me. I then scanned and emailed it to Spectrum. I also considered going to a lab to get the results done but glad I went through my primary doctor cause in the end I wanted a sick note from them instead of the cosmetic surgery place. The first time I went for lipo I got asked the same questions by another primary care doctor. I think some doctors forget they are there to assist you and not judge you. Good luck on your surgery!

Yeah its a reallyvhotrible feeling! So you can get clearance from someone other than your doctor? And definately can understand why you would want the sick note from them, you don't want everyone judging you and know your business. Do you know what is needed for medical clearance? Cos I genuinely don't understand why he's not up for providing one. It's so stressful but thank you for ur advice and best wishes lol I certainly need it as I'm going by myself I'm so sure I'm gonna forget something lol

Yup you can get it from a lab by taking the prescription. On my medical clearance it contained my lab results and a note from the doctor saying that I was cleared for surgery due to being healthy. I went by myself also but surprisingly it worked out fine. I stayed in a hotel and had a stay in nurse for the first night. After that only to take me to post op appointments.

Some of the pics I submitted. I'm hoping to get rid of some of the cellulite and have a some shape! I want a smaller waist and more butt definition. That back fat has also got to go! Next on my list after this is fixing my breasts. 2017 is all about me baby..Any one having surgery around my date?
