Reasons why I love Dr. S 1)He and his staff are very professional and courteous. 2)His staff followed up with me on a regular whether it was by e-mail or telephone from my consultation to my recovery. 3)He is aggressive with the Lipo. I had horrible back fat, love handles and my stomach needed some work. He got rid of all my back fat. I’ve always been a top heavy person and he was able to make my whole upper body smaller. 4)He gave me 2 garments. I did not have to buy expensive garments. I transitioned from his garment to spanx and I had no issues. 5)His wait times were short when I went to see him. I don’t think I waited longer than 20 minutes. 6)Follow-Up Appointments: I‘ve seen Dr. S 3 times in the last 6 weeks and he does not charge for follow-up appointments. I was worried that I would be on my own after surgery and I was happy to know that he does quite a few follow-up appointments to monitor your progress. 7)He has a nurse that comes to your house after surgery and a nurse on call at all times. 8)Not afraid to give you a booty- Dr. S has no issue in making your butt as big as you want it. He injected as much fat as my skin would stretch and allow him too. I don’t know how many cc’s he injected in me though. 9)Caring- I got a UTI that was a nightmare. Dr. S tried to give me some meds to get rid of it but when that was not working he told me to go see a regular Dr. I went to a PCP and Dr. S had a staff member follow up with me and even take down my PCP’s info. He wanted me to call in to provide updates on if I was getting better. I was happy to know he cared. 10)No drains- Dr. S does not use drains like how some other doctors do. I was happy about this as I heard that drains are painful and can be irritating. 11) Meds- Dr. S gave me prescriptions for all the meds I needed. Not to mention for some amazing pain killers. I hardly felt any pain from the time I got out of surgery and even while I was recovering. If I had to give my negative experiences or issues it would be these: 1)He does not seem to be big on massages. He or his staff did not mention to me about getting massages after the procedure. I was told that there is a girl there that could do them so if massages are important to you then they can refer you to someone. 2)I was disappointed that I could not meet with the Dr. on the day of my pre-op. I had a lot of questions and concerns about recovery that I was hoping he would be there to answer. I also did feel like my patient coordinator was rushing the appointment. She went through everything really fast and I did not get a chance to process all the information and ask questions. I ended up having to research online to get information on the recovery process. However, when it got closer to the surgery, I called in and was able to talk to a nurse. She answered all my questions that I had after researching on this site. On the day of surgery, I also spoke to Dr. S and he answered all my remaining questions so that when I was ready for surgery, I felt comfortable and safe. 3)I did have 2 issues while recovering and I called in to get advice. Whichever nurse the operator transferred me to was not in a good mood or something. She did not give me much information and she seemed like she was trying to rush me off the phone. She also seemed annoyed when I asked her questions so I stopped and didn't get all the info I needed. I did call back a few days and the nurse I spoke to then was super nice and I got all my questions answered. Dr. Salzhauer is an amazing Dr. I hope my review will encourage you to go get a free consultation from him. You will not be disappointed! I know he does not have as much reviews on this website as other Doctors but he does amazing work. He has tons of pictures on his website and if you go to a consultation take a look at some of his staff members; you will see his work in person!
