Hello,
I’ve secured my $500 deposit for Ortega at spectrum, but I haven’t seen much before and after photos of his BBL work, besides Dr Chang who does a lot of BBL work at spectrum (he isn’t board certified). I’m debating on changing doctors, do any of you guys have input on either doctors? My surgery date is in March 2018!

Girl so apparently Dr.chang bbl is wats popping. I chose Dr. Mel Ortega because he is experienced in bbl with a higher bmi. Now honestly I am changing my doctor to Dr. Chang because 1. I'm at a 33.4% BMI but I been working out and I'm very confident that I can be at a 30% BMI by time I scheduled my surgery in August and after looking at his pictures I know for a fact that I want him to do my surgery. And I feel like even though they're doing the special and it's only about $5,000 you need to get what you want and what I don't understand about dr. Mel Ortega is why is it that his work literally fluctuates like there are some people that get BBL and said that he didn't take in any consideration what they wanted or they see little results.. and that is the majority of people that have gotten his work girl I searched him down to the T and I was not comfortable with the fact that out of five reviews 3 reviews were of people that had complained saying that they didn't feel like he did a great job or they were okay with it.. and then there are people that say did an amazing job.. whereas dr. Chang has had nothing but five stars and he is even received multiple comments from women on their Instagram bad tag in and say hey thank you for your job and as far as dr. Mel Ortega it seems that his work really does fluctuate I feel like you have to be consistent with your work and I'm not about to pay you almost $6,000 if I'm not going to get what I want for a certain fact so if you want a nice bubble but I would say go for doctor Chang..
So I changed my surgeon to Dr Salama. My gut feeling just steered me towards him and I feel a lot more confident with his work.

Have you had your procedure done already? How did it go? I am struggling to pick the best Dr too. Stuck between Dr. Salama, Dr Miami and Dr Mendieta...such a difficult decision!
I had my surgery done on 5/24 with Dr Salama. So far so good! I’m only 1.5 weeks post op so I can’t really say much about my results yet since I’m still swollen, but so far I like how my body looks
Thank you for your reply. I saw your pics and you look great! Would you still recommend Dr. Salama? I am really struggling with my decision between him, Dr Mendieta and Dr Fisher all in Miami as I live in a different state...!!!
Yes, I’d definitely recommend Salama. He’s a very kind and funny person. His staff could use better communication. But overall, I love the shape Dr Salama gave me.
