Hi Cynthia, i'm not sure where i'll be staying yet. I know I need something a bit roomy because it's going to be a few of us as well. Let me know if you come across any apartments or good resorts. I'll be searching as well:) when is your surgery?

I haven't booked yet, until I find a good resort for my family. I'm looking for a place where they can stay, have fun and I can rest.

Hey I just want to advice you in the traveling.
I also traveled to fl and I gotta say after 3 days of my surgery I started to feel so much better like I started to cook for myself and all and my sister was only helping the first two days because you can't do anything the first days u get tired from walking, u cant bend etc
And now my issue is that I paid for 2 weeks on my airbn and I feel perfectly fine now its been 5 days and I feel ready to go home. I cant believe I spended alot money for booking for too long I thought that I.was going to be in a bad state for 2 weeks. Turns out it.only last few days. I think the docs say two weeks but I think its that u have to aboid sitting for that long but otherwise youre gonna be fine if u stay here for a week even less like im now feeding myself, dressing myself etc I wish I knew the recovery was going to be so short like few days.. I can even sit and it doesnt even hurt so my body is starting to gain feeling after being numb and pain and the hardness is becoming softeness . Im only going crazy here because I wanna go home and enjoy my summer lol I feel so stuck for other week. :( I could of spend only 500 instead of 1000 for 2 weeks.
Please I advice you do not stay for too long im alredy going insane at this place and I feel like ready to live a normal life so just dont think u gonna be in pain for a week.
Just avoid sitting down thats all cause nothing will hurt after the 3th day

No problem its not worth it staying for too long trust me you gonna want to be home and alredy trying new clothes..rather than stuck like I am :(
Oh and im gonna paste what I wrote about my experience there, hope that also helps you what to expect.

Hey I just recently had surgery with Ghuranj. I was also scared but honestly I decided to stop thinking about the death and go witth my own destiny and so did I and im still here thank god!
So Ill be honest from the start to end.
My experience was ok but actually better than I expected in some ways of course.
The labss and all that paper work they take very seriously so it yoy dont meet with them they will cancel your surgery. I know they were really careful about the health andcare lab results which made me feel safe in a way and relief after hearing what happened.
Secondly I also traveled from a diff state to Florida, the waiting at the spectrum varies from day to day. One day it could be only you there and they will gobto you after you walk in, some other days it could be from crowded and youll be waiting one hour..
The girls at the front desk are not friendly they do get too distracted from what they doing because they either too busy on their phones or talking to each other out loud..so its thats something you dont mind of course for me it was a bit frustrating at first then idc anymore lol
So I met the doc finally and he was nice at first and then he will be a bit too harsh on whatever you ask and he doesn't like wish pics but I still tried and even tho I didnt like his manner of treating me, he did what I asked at the end. And his attitude almost made me change my mind but then I said im here so [RS bleep] it at least he didnt seem to be interested in doing multiple procedures all at once he did refused so good sign.
So after the surgery I didnt see him. I woke up in a wheelchair and then they send you home with whoever you came with.
After seen myself in the garment I did felt thinner and I gotta said I am pleased with ny results he did exsctly what I asked very close to my wish pics honestly.
The only thing I didn't like he did left some fat in the back and it seems like eevryone should expect this cause all the girls who had him they did mentioned the same issue and well I guess thats his thing so.be ready to expect some fat left in your back.
He did some fat in the my middle of my tummy so Im bothered by that but the shape makes me happier and I guess im thinking of going for a touch up with someone else but I really love my curvy shape. If anyone wants to ask something else or wants to see my pics send me a msg .
I hope this helped a bit to the ones having surgery soon.

What doctor are you considering now? I did so much research on Ghurani. I'm so upset about this.

I am scheduled with ghurani on may 22. Dr calva had a death last week as well. I know it's scary and I was reconsidering as well . He was the best for me. I pray for him every day that he goes in the OR. I pray every one comes out happy and healthy. It has happened to a few docs and we pray it doesn't happen again! Try talking to your coordinator.

If she developed a clot it's from an embolism it's called a fat embolism and it can happen to anyone. I have surgery may 11 but rethinking it now I hear staff at spectrum is terrible and they don't make you feel at ease. I feel so anxious Idk what to do
