Ladies, these are must haves after surgery according to Fisher:
2 Gallons of Gatorade or Powerade per days following surgery
Liquid Iron, Floradex
My coordinator didn't mention this nor did the post op instructions.
You'll want to drink either one constantly to urinate frequently and push that anesthesia out of your system.
I've been taking Tylenol Muscle and Pain 675mg. I've heard bad things about those Percocets. The pharmacist even told my friend to tell me to avoid them unless my pain was unbearable! The pain is bad but not unbearable. Very stiff. I was extremely dizzy when I sat up and felt faint. That's the anesthesia. After urinating three times, I can walk to the restroom with assistance.

My friend is here with me and the lady comes In to do the massages. You will need a lot of help!

Wow you're smart! I think I need to do that. Me and my friend are getting ours done the same day we can just go half n half on the room and have our friends help us. Can you please send me the # for the lady that comes in to do the massages?? Thanks for keeping us updated

My sx was 5/26 as well...happy healing..yes 2 gallons a day!! Protein n iron pills a must i will b posting pics soon...massages very important

How can you stand the massages? They terrify me! Mine hurt so bad each time she even gets near the lipo areas. I only want her to do my arms and legs

Ladies I found the Floradex at the Vitamin Shoppe. Fisher said its a must. Feeling a bit weak.

I won't tell you that today was good but it is better. I can't stand the massages! I'm terrified of them! My friends made me shower after I had a bowel movement. That made a tremendous difference in how I feel. I don't have much of an appetite. I still haven't taken those Percocets... I've been taking Arnica tablets. I drank a small cup of pineapple juice. Still drinking the Gatorade and water.

Congratulations!!!! Beautiful shape!!! The Percocet was wont hurt, especially at bedtime to help you rest.

Get up and walk Ull feel better I had my surgery early may with Dr fisher ! To go to bed I use to take the percoset they help u sleep good the more u lay around the more ur body feels stiff and hurts! Make sure u eat it's key as well !!! I hated the massages too they made me cringe especially on the belly !! But overall you look great !!!

Mine did about a week after I walked alot starting the day after surgery I went to Walmart walked walked around the hotel is stayed at extended stay too !! Like I'm not in pain now it's honestly more uncomfortableness and ur skin is feels sooo numb u kno lol but it will get better I dunno if ur flying home but my flight was awful

I walk but not too much because I get tired. I have been eating well and taking the liquid iron. I'm not flying, thank goodness.

Oh ur so lucky I had to fly to new York it was awful girl well I hope for a speedy recovery yes Ull get tired from walking just push ur self more and more every day and you'll be good :)

Was reading your post ,,i have my surgery scheduled for june 23 rd im also staying at the extended stay,,did u hire a nurse or just had a buddy and how did u do your massages did they come to you? And im flying home to Pittsburgh its a hr n 20 min flight whats your advice..thank you in advance

You will need someone there with you. I recover slower than other people so it depends on your tolerance. I just net a young lady at Vanity who was alone at the Hilton and taking an Uber to her post op appointments. She's doing very well so it all depends. (786) 390-9108 Esperanza for massages.

Hi I had a friend come with me and she was amazing I dnt think you'd need a nurse but if wanted one get one my friend helped me bathe go to bathroom I also recommend u get a p Ez Ull thank me later lol !!! I went to vanity and got my massages they are amazing there the woman or I kno ppl get nurses to come to you !!! I bought the bbl pillow and had a pillow for my back on plane ur thighs will hurt but I dealt with the plane once in air u can ask to stand or just walk up n downstairs aisles just explain u had surgery !!

You look great! I don't blame you about the Percocet, I'm a nurse & I have no plans on touching those. It effects your breathing & a lot of people don't realize that. Keep moving, I get to the other side on Thursday, but after 2 c-sections I know laying around doesn't help. Happy healing, again you look wonderful

Take percoset to go to massages and arnica pills they would help a lot, i start my therapies day1 and help feeling so much better

Cant stand massage either..plus hearing the fluid. I was crying like a baby. So anurse my sx buddy had did mt 1st n the 2nd my hubby did..she showed him how...saved.a lil loot but we didnt have ultrasound
