So, my orig dr. appt for lab work that was scheduled for July 18? I think was cancelled and now my new lab work date is Aug 6. I really hope that is not cutting it too close, my surgery date is Aug 14. I did find a recovery house and I will be driving to Miami on Aug13th for the pre-op. queensrecoverycaremia and I found her on IG. I have read nothing but good reviews about the recovery house so I went ahead and put my deposit down. There was a special for Aug; $125/night if you stay 4 nights or more.

I'm down to a little less than 30 days, doing my labs tomorrow (July 19). I have yet to find a recovery house or an air b n b. I will be traveling alone, so I think a recovery house might be my best option. I am not familiar with Miami so I don't even know where to begin looking for an air b n b anyway lol.
I believe I have just about everything I need, the last thing I need to get is a booty chair.
Does anyone have any suggestions on recovery houses, air b n b and booty chairs? Is it even a good idea for me to get an air b n b since I am traveling alone?

Surgery is all paid for and scheduled for Aug 14. This seems so unreal to me, so now I have roughly 2 months to get the supplies I need & figure out if I want to fly or drive there (I live about 3hrs drive time away) as well as book a recovery house or decide if should stay with my friend in FLL & drive back and forth to Mia for appts which is about 1hr each way. This is a lot to think about!

Yes i will be coming in on the 13 which is a Monday and leave the following Monday 20th

I'm driving down the 13th early, then going straight to the pre-op. I'm trying to see if I can fly home on the 20th

I remember looking at Dolls Recovery house and saying they were very expensive but I just looked again and saw the things that were included with the stay, it will save me some money so I am going to give them a call.

I compared Dolls Recovery house with All Dreams Recovery and I think I'm going to stay there. It's at least $200 cheaper for the 7 day package. What time does your flight come in on May 13?

I didnt book my flight yet i will be booking it soon tho...im trying to get a morning flight hopefully i will be in Miami by atleast 10 am or 11 the latest. And yes i booked dolls during a black friday special $117/night....couldnt beat that

I literally just made up my mind last week to have surgery in Aug, my original plan was to do it in Dec but after reading all these posts on here I moved my date up, so I am VERY unprepared lol

I was going to do the 3 free massages with the clinic with my post ops then figure out if I really needed more than 3. I would like to do at least 5 when I'm there, but these costs ain't cheap lol
I got some maxi dresses from boohoo.com for $10.80 a piece. I bought like 8 of them in 2 months lol lol. That was the cheapest I could find maxis for at the time. If you look at the site be careful with sizing, I think it defaults to UK sizes.

Yes thats where i plan on ordering mines or might have to hit up rainbow. And yeah im thinking abouy getting maybe like 4 massages because they are $80 a piece so idk...

Yeah Elena's assistant Karen mentioned that to me while I was getting this finalized. I'm thinking of scheduling something in June, I'm guessing I have to make up my mind to spend the whole day there just to speak to the Dr. lol lol

yes, cell saver is mandatory now. It even says so on the quote they are now emailing.
