13 days post op

So I am officially past my two weeks post op and I feel pretty much normal. I still haven't sat on my butt, I'm preserving it as long as I can lol. The swelling has went down but I still have A LOT of swelling in my stomach. I can't stand how it looks but I know it's all fluid. It's feels like hard lumps. I have been wearing my ab board religiously as well as getting massages but it is still very swollen and ugly. I'm hoping it goes down soon. Any tips bbl veterans?

I have been following this site for over a year. Are there any suggestions on drs you all feel is great with the BBL. PLEASE HELP
Dr Fischer did my bbl and he listens and gave me exactly what I want. His price is also reasonable. I'm from NY and a bbl starts at about $9000-$10,000.
Wow!! Now that's a big bootie! What a difference. Give it a few weeks! The swelling will go down!
Lol it is but I think it's starting to fit my frame...After surgery I have to admit I was SCARED because my booty was tooo big!! But Fischer Does know what he is doing. ..looks like he gave me exactly what I want. I didn't want anything too dramatic..I guess I'm just impatient about my stomach, but you are right I need to give it a few weeks before I start complaining lol
GIRLLLLLLLL you Look AWESOME! your body is PERFECT! I know how bad the swell hell can be I am also swollen up bad, but I have not gotten any massages yet, I was going to do endermology instead, I am confused about these massages my first surgeon that did my BBL told me not to get them that the body heals itself, and some docs on real self agree so this time I was not sure what to do.. do you feel that the massages helped you? by the way be careful with the the handheld massagers I started using one after my last lipo and i developed a seroma i think it caused it, because the fluid was moved around by the massager and it created that pocket...so this time I am not using it.
The stomach takes time just keep on gettin massages make sure ur person is doin it hard enough alson doin it urself also lots of water...that's wat I read from girls on here
I will definitely increase my water in take. I have been going crazy with pineapple juice
Lots of water n pineapple juice tell ur massage lady to get in there really good also Ive read a lot of girls still get swollen in the it takes time
Well that's good news! Thanks for the advice!!
No problem
you look amazing love your butt... and its only 13 days post op I am sure you have a lot of swelling going on in your belly hopefully it will go down soon enough. How many lymphatic massages have you had?
I've had 5 lymphatic massages while in Miami and 3 since I've been home. I also been having my bf do it and my mom has a neck massager that I put on my belly that beats the crap out my stomach lol. My bf says it's going down but I guess I'm trying to rush the process. I just ordered a tight garment, I hope that helps
good luck hopefully the garment will help ... in truth it just looks a bit swollen to me ... but you know "we'" are our worst critics
U can also get ur own hand held ultrasound machine massager on ebay, and a tighter garment will definitely help as well, you should be in the second one by now I believe. If it still doesn't go down you may need it drained. Hopefully you won't and it will reabsorb. Have you tried water pills?
I hope I don't need it drained! That is my worst nightmare because I know no NY surgeon would touch me and I don't want to fly back to Miami for that. I will try the water pills, that's a good idea. Also the garment I just ordered would be my 3rd garment. After surgery they gave me a size 42, 7 days later I felt it was loose and I bought a 40 and now I need a 38. Hopefully the tighter compression and water pills do the trick!
oh ok, well don't assume they all won't, you may find one. I'm from NY too. and I've looked it up there are many, that take insurance too. the tighter compression will def help. Have you been getting massages if so where?
what does the ultrasound machine do? Thanks!
You need to find one who takes insurance who would be willing to drain you. Maybe get a referral from your primary physician and call first to find out whether they will drain another surgeons patient.
Yes! Referral is a good idea
Its a ultrasound massager.. It helps allievate the swelling and helps with the pain a stiffness.. Its offered at many spas but its not usually used during lympatic massages but some places use that machine first then the manusl draining.. They're cheap on ebay .. Think its worth a try if u don't want it done at a spa
Oh okay ill start looking into some now just in case. I'm close to NYC so I should find one there. When u were looking did u get a name to any doctors that do it?
Also I've been getting my massages at a chiropractic office that does lymphatic drainage massages
a general surgeon or a plastic surgeon can do it for you. I would just google plastic surgeons that take your insurance and start from there. you should be able to get a list for nyc.

9 days post op

So I have not updated for a while but here's a little update......
?7 days post op, I finally had my drain removed and it felt amazing! I spoke with Fisher and he did put 800cc in that booty! I also flew back to NY that same day

?plane ride wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I bought a yoga mat and used that to put under my thighs and put a pillow to support my back. I also walked up and down the aisle every time the seat belt sign was off lol.

?after I landed walking was so draining and on top of that,  the airline lost my luggage (day later they delivered it to me). I was actually able to sleep through the night just being in my own bed. At the hotel I couldn't sleep more than 2 hours without getting up. There's nothing like being home! My boyfriend also can't get over how big my ass is lol. He's always singing "anaconda" every time I walk in the room..smh

?So its 9 days post and I feel like a whale! ! I'm soo swollen!  My legs are HUGE! I'm still wearing my compression socks but my body is retaining alot of fluid. I weighed myself and I weigh 15lbs more than preop...insane!  I'm also extremely bored. Recovery is boring lol. I will post pics when the swelling goes down cause right now I look like a balloon. I also stopped taking my pain meds since physically I'm feeling better.  I'm able to walk much better but nowhere near 100%. I just can't wait til I'm like a month post op!
